Movies that MUST be made...

Resident Evil.... George A Ramero... not this crap thats out right now

did you ever READ his script? it was f**king awful...Chris as not even a STARS member, but a stereotypical Indian tracker who happened to be dating Jill and WALKS to the mansion after she goes missing with the rest of STARS...it was awful

nope... never read it... sounds bad too

how could they mess the film up.. the foundation was paved....

I agree...I really preffer the current ones to that script, cause I'd rather they leave the characters from the game alone as opposed to messing them up...and yes, I know Jill was in the 2nd one, but she was close enough to her persona in RE3 for me to give it a pass :o

You must not have played the new one, because Twilight Princess is filled with Character Depth and Emotion.

Dude...come on, it's just fluff. I mean really, if you try to go in depth into the story there's really nothing there underneath, theres nothing the writers are really trying to say. Like Kevin said, the story is just an excuse to make the video game, although, a very fun video game.

I don't think a Zelda movie would work either. Considering every game consists of a number of dungeons, too many for a movie because it will get very repetitive quickly. Which one's do you expand/shorten? Which do you eliminate entirely? Do you just show the first one, the rest as a montage? The games do have great cinematic moments, but too much fluff and not enough actual story, which is the problem with adapting video games into movies. Books on the other hand, like LOTR and Harry Potter, have a better structure to adapt.

a Zelda movie does not have to follow any of the games. i would be happy if the trilogy were of nothing but finding the 3 pendants like in A link to the Past...doesnt have to be 3 dungeons...but 3 very difficult obstacles and fight some sort of monster. gain the 3 pendants to perhaps get to gannon?

or movie one introduces the characters...gains the first pendant...2nd movie gaining the second pendant, meeting gorons for instance, zoras, or just Kakariko Village inhabitants...movie 3, gaining the 3rd pendant, which allows for gain of the master sword to finally fight gannon...

while all that happens show gannon doing whatever all over hyrule...

doesnt have to be based entirely on the games...mix n match some of the games aspects and have a original written story...

the biggest problem i see with a zelda movie ever being made is, well excluding the fact nintendo has no interest(yet), is casting...now the role of gannon zelda and link...wow i cant even think of anyone to cast.

Still waiting on an Evangelion movie. Japanese cast (except one german)

id like a movie about the Babylonians...you know Nebopolosar, his son Nebuchadnezzar...hanging gardens...war...divertiing the river to defeat the babylonians, if you know your history....

The Man with No Fear

Daredevil redone, and made awesome, don't even call it daredevil

cause he is one of the best literary heros of the last 25 years or so, and got a pretty shotty going in film

if they end up making an Evangelion movie, the cast will most likely NOT be Japanese. some of the concept art that was made for a live action movie (now in development hell) shows change in race and names.

by no means at the top of my list, but i was watching the first again the other day, and i'd really like to see:

sky high 2

i also agree with a matrix prequel. probably not another trilogy, but i'd like to see the robot rebellion/first matrix or something to that effect.

also, metal gear. i don't even care which one. just... one of them (although, prefferably: metal gear 1, solid, solid 2, or a combination of the three).

Metal Gear Solid with James Cameron or Hideo if he was instrested as director and Harry Gregson MUST return to do the score, and it would have to be a good film, not just your run of the mill, l'ook the game is awesome, people are gonna see it even if it sucks' kinda film.

thank f**k, i'm glad to see i'm not the only one who thinks that way about the script, i love romeros work and much as the next zombie fan but he is not the be all and end all of zombie films

Good Big Screen version of He-Man and The Masters of The Universe and GI-Joe of course.

Got to do some dragon lance movies before i die. That could be the nex great trilogy.

Treasure Island remake so we can have a differant pirates experiance. Some say why because we must have a Captain Flint, Ben Gunn, Long John Silver, and Jim Hawkins for the next generation.

Ghostbusters reloaded. With Casino Royale and Batman Begins. I think so many movies could have a successful reboot.

movies I want made are as followed
1)ghost rider vs spawn
2)Prince of persia
3)G.i. Joe

Matrix Prequel: show everything leading up to the finding of Neo.
Ive always thought a matrix prequel would be a great idea...and the ending scene would be the "find the white rabbit" chat session between Neo and trinity but the main focus should be on the One before Neo. Remember how Morpeous once said there were more than one The Ones.

Harry Gregson-Williams is a must.
It just wouldn't be Metal Gear without him.

I'd love to see a Zelda movie, provided the material is treated with the same respect that LOTR got production-wise.

But I don't think a trilogy would work. A 3 hours movie? maybe. But the thing is that every game is like a retelling of the same plot, so a trilogy isn't necessary for this particular tale.

Also a Super Mario Bros that doesn't suck. Sounds like a challenge but it can be done.

I think the hardest part about making a Zelda movie would be unlike LOTR where there is always a group of characters, in Zelda, most of it is just Link journeying through a field, or mountains, or dungeon by himself. That doesn't leave much for character interaction, development, etc.

That's why you change the story.
Have Malon travel with him, she can wield a bow.
Maybe add Ralph from the Oracle games.
Or have an older Colin from Twilight Princess follow him around.
