you should have soloman kane thrown into the future it would make for interesting storyline considering the whole paranormal defense thingy, for some reason i forgot the name of the agency Hellboy is with.

Well either way it's pretty cliche but I like the idea of Hellboy sitting eating a burger with Abe then blip he disappears and finds himself in an old castle with a beautiful women telling him he needs to protect her then in comes Sol ready to kill her(the witch) and finds a Demon there. I might do a follow up in reverse where Solomon gets thrown into the future as well, but I like having Hellboy thrown into the past or maybe I'll do 2 versions I don't know yet.

Did this at work today...it took maybe an hour, from sketch to colours, it's just a rough piece though and i don't think I'll do a final ever, but it was fun and alleviated some boredom today.

Man did that have to hurt! Nice concept and the layout adds to the "impact" of the devastating blow.

it'd be great if you had another panel with hulk stomping away and wolverine gets up and theres an ECU inset of him grinning and growling "my turn bub"

dediknight I only new about Sol. from the conan comics I finally got the Savage Tales of Solomon Kane which is all the works and liked the character even more. I really liked the idea of the Puritan and the Demon together fighting evil if only for awhile.

the Hulk wolvie thing was really just a doodle, not really planning to do anything else with it.

jrs That's what I was going for just a lot of movement and power, fairly happy with the way it turned out, not sure if I'm going to turn it into a final piece or not

A new one I did at work, I've never been happy with the colour work I produce and I'm not a huge fan of the slick colour work of regular comics I like the brush stroke look myself.

So here's an attempt at getting a more "painterly" style using photoshop.

Yeah I know the perspective is off and the buildings kind of suck but hey I was working from a really rough piece. Next time I'm going to do it with cleaner artwork and see how it turns out.

Alright I'm at work and I don't get anything good finished so all you get are doodles...maybe I should stop posting them?

very strange a wolverine fan that understands the limits of wolverine's powers. heehee most don't, even alot of comic writers don't as well. hell most fans of any comic heroes don't. i mean superman could never beat spider-man. (hee,hee)
