Multiple deaths at Pittsburgh synagogue shooting

I think I have never been so mad as when I got to the part of the Mr. Rogers documentary where Fox News was attacking him...

Oh, and per the White House, this wasn't an antisemitic attack, it was an anti-religion attack.

I've always tried to read/watch various news sources to get as a complete picture of the world as possible. That used to include Fox News until the Charleston Church Shooting in 2015. Fox said it was an attack on Christians despite the fact that Dylann Roof openly embraced White Supremacy on social media and actually said that he was going to target black people. I haven't bothered with Fox since.

They always turn it around it to make themselves the victims, not the actual victims. They did it then, they did it with the MAGA bomber, and they did it with the synagogue shooter.

People will always be offended over any little thing. You chose to call attention to a small issue and ignored the other ones about Trump, which are far bigger and have worse consequences than a statement by a university that didn't use certain words that people went to hear.

You realize that the people you are talking about being "offended over any little thing" here are Jewish right? You realize this isn't the first time Columbia University has been accused of ignoring anti-Semitism?

Columbia ranked as worst college in US for Jewish students

I don't think Columbia Alumni would agree with you that this is a small issue.

Whatever you say. Keep deflecting to small issues. What's your opinion on Pence bringing in a Christian "rabbi" to pray for the victims? Good guy hey?

The guy that asked people to pray for Republican candidates by name, but not a single victim?

I'm sure that was a sincere plea to god and not a political ploy

Israeli students at Columbia blast administration for ignoring anti-Semitism

Tell those students it's a small issue.

What about Mike Pence doing a totally Mike Pence thing? You say I'm deflecting but then divert to a story that has already been commented on by three or four people now. There is a difference between deliberately ignoring something and simply choosing not to comment on it. It isn't like there is a shortage of posters here that will call out Pence for his failure.

I didn't think you'd top your childish response of "one guy" but you managed to do it. Congratulations.

You were called out by your own right winger buddy here. Congratulations on being nitpicky.

The fact that you are in agreement with Amilixi on this should let you know that you're wrong. :o

Cool story, bro. Keep doing you I guess.

And now white supremacists want to hold a rally outside the National American Jewish Museum in Philly. Next Sat.

That is not going to go well.

My ex and his husband live in Philly and are attending the counter protest.

As a New Yorker I have to laugh quite hardily that you think that the NYPOST is anything other than a wackjob partisan rag in which literally EVERY article written is some kind of reactionary hit piece. Or in other words... It's literally Trump before Trump entered politics. The "news paper" that the Post itself quoted BTW? It's a publication that has an obvious reactionary bias and a circulation of 18,000. It may have once been a storied journal for Jewish Americans but there's honestly NO stock that should be placed in it now. I am also sure that it would be a lot easier to find self identifying Jewish students at Columbia that would call bull**** on the Post and Algemeiner's "poll" and conclusion.
