Naruto - Part 1

I am also waiting for this series to end. A big part of me keeps reading seemingly out of obligation because I've gotten this far and its almost ending.

at this point, I wish they would just finish up Naruto already. It feels like they're only prolonging the inevitable end and trying to find ways to stall it from happening

This is how I feel. I used to wait eagerly for every chapter and read them with excitement. Now I don't even care anymore.

Quite some time ago, I told that this would happen eventually and that the manga can't go forever or it'll just become dull at some point, to which people replied that it should go for much longer because they don't want the series to end. All good things must come to an end before they lose its quality or are ruined.

Really? Who told you that? In most places i go most think it had started to drop in quality since the timeskip. But i think Kishimoto just shot himself in the foot with this war arc

It was probably in this very thread.
I liked the war arc a lot until Kishi started to drag this so much with the Juubi and its many forms. The story just wasn't advancing. Now, when I thought Tobi was finally defeated and we could move on a little bit, he becomes THE Jinchuuriki.

The last time I felt any sense of progression was when Kabuto was defeated and the Edo Tensei released, since he was one of the Big Three villains in this war and his army was vanishing. We'll most likely see him again helping the alliance. which will give us even more chapters.

It was alright. Next episode will go back to canon, with Madara.

I really hope this new Obito/Jinchuriki form isn't the final villain because that is just weak.

Haven't seen/read old naruto in years, but shippuden is absolute garbage. By that, I mean it's one of the most offensive form of manga and anime; right up there with bleach.

What did you think of the original Naruto anime and Part I of the manga? As for Bleach i actually find it very entertaining, even if the story is kind of bad now.

I remember that I liked back when I was like 12-14. Now, not so sure. As for Bleach, I hated it since the beginning. Especially after the soul society arc.

If you have that reaction just for this then you better not go to 4chan, i'm enjoying Bleach but while this new arc has good moments, it varies from exciting to boring, thank Kubo for his slow as hell pacing, as well as his lack of foreshadowing.

New chapter wasn't bad. I'm interested to see how they're going to defeat the omnipotent Tobi. At least it isn't just a mindless, huge and boring monster, anymore.

We went from a boring and whiny Obito to a mindless and apparently all powerful one. Feels like such lazy writing to make him this strong when its not earned at all. I really hope someone else pops up as the big bad to end this series because I do not want it to be Obito.

Is it wrong that I wish Naruto would just end already? I feel like the battle with the 10 tens is like never ending and so repetitive. Especially since they were making such good progress with Naruto, let alone with even making Hinata look great, but then we suddenly get resurrected Hokages coming in for the rescue, Sasuke suddenly becoming good again, people praising about how awesome Sasuke and Sakura are. It's like we take 2 steps forward but 3 steps backwards.

And by prolonging this thing, they're only hurting the anime show as well since I can't remember the last time where I watched an anime that was based off a popular manga that had so much filler crap.

I for one am just appreciating the fun of it all. I mean considering the Naruto is fighting beside the [BLACKOUT]fox/sasuke and his freaking dad[/BLACKOUT] at the moment I have enough perspective to enjoy the moment for what it is.

I do think this war sullied alot of it's big moments with no down time chapters, I'm still really happy.

The anime just went into overdrive with you know who's appearance. Great animation.

I stoped taking it seriously when the magic chapter about sasuke and orochimaru turning good along with Hinata being ignored by Minato came out, it was also when we discovered Sakura had a power up too i believe.

Man I loved that new issue of the manga.

I loved that Sennin Mode is relevant again.
