If that list of great influences to draw from is any indication, we're in for something really special.

So i watched XO:W yesterday and...I didn't like it that much. it was okay. Reynolds was good as Wade but didn't like the end part of what they did to his character.

It's not the best but I don't think it's the worst... IMO: First Class > X2 > X1 > Origins > X3

Origins is the worst.

People are only saying X3 is the worst because X3 disappointed them more but as a "film", X3 worked so much better.

Origins is much worse than X3 imo.

And great list from Mangold. Then again I have had faith in him since the beginning since I love both Walk the Line and Copland.

Yeah, pretty frustrating. Deadpool could have fit very well in that film, the filmmakers/studio just had no idea why hes a cool character or works. They have like 80 concept designs online and not one looked like his comic counterpart. They were purposely trying to not make him like the comic in argument it wouldnt work in a Wolverine film. Cause its not "realistic" hahaha. Yet their idea of realistic were arm katanas, Laser eyes and being a brainless mouth stitched, zombie controlled by a 70s computer. Worst adaptation of a character Ive seen. Reynolds did do a good job pre Deadpool though.

Yeahh, origins sucked
I didn't even have high hopes for that one like X3, knew it'd suck off the bat

my list goes
1-X2 2-X-Men 3-First Class 4-X3 5-Origins

THIS times a million

X3 was more disappointing after X3 no body thought XO would be any better...

X3 was a decent film if you ignore continuity and don't care about characters dying

Except you know, there was no particular in-story reason for those characters to die.

Storywise X3 is a bit of a mess.

yeah the worst thing about X3 was the pacing

it was all like "boom something happened...boom something totally unrelated...boom back to the first again...bam, action scene..."

I don't think any scene in that movie after the danger room lasted longer than 30 seconds

eh... Cyclops died to weaken jean's psyke

Xavier died to not only shake the team, but show how dangerous pheonix is

jean died... because well.. phoenix is as phoenix does

X3 had at least good music and it didn't look cheap. Origins was cheap-looking and has the most cheesey/cliche moments in the entire X-Men movie series. From the very start it was bad.

***Wolverine stabs the guy who is beating his mom***
Guy says: Son....
Wolverine:
Mom: What are you?:cmad:
***Wolverine runs away***

Then the whole airplane ride with Stryker's soldiers. I could go on and on why Origins is worse than Last Stand.

I'm pretty confident with Mangold directing this next Wolverine movie. I enjoyed his last movie Knight and Day though the story was weak. Hopefully the movie has a great script.

agrees... not to mention but the only redeeming things about X3 was the fight scenes... something singer never handled right.

we finally got to see the x-men go all out.

and please... who didn't cheer inside when iceman finally ice'd up?

Wow, trailer's really set for late March?! Alriiiiiightyy then...

Lady Deathstrike VS Wolverine is still the best fight in their entire X-Men series.
