And it's a scan of a photo at that. Sheesh.

Love the new pic. Classy yet Wolverine-y.

But yeah, I hope the claws are just bad photoshop for the image and that the actual CGI claws won't look that bad...

This is how they looked in magazines back in the X2 days...

great pic! i'm getting a James Bond vibe from that pic :word:

the claws don't look that bad. compared to how they looked in Origins, they look excellent.

I love the new pic!!! I think the only problem with the claws are that they are too shiny and they look small but other than that i love it. Where's the god dang trailer?!!!

Ha, can't pass up on this oppertunity to note that he has a shirt on *and* it's very different from the usual ready-to-fight stance we've been seeing. So I believe some people's wishes have been granted! This is a really original shot that makes me *so* curious to know what's in store for us! :woot::woot: Awesome!

Talking in the latest issue of Empire Magazine, X-Men producer Hutch Parker had this to say about why and how Hugh Jackman's Logan finds himself in Japan.

"We pick up Logan in a very isolated state, full of self-loathing. He is sought out by a young Asian woman for reasons he doesn't fully understand, who is asking him to follow her to Japan where he is meant to reconnect with someone he spent prison-time with in Nagasaki. And the legacy of that experience - effectively Logan saved him - is that this man is on his deathbed, and is looking to give him a gift, to thank him for the life he's had. But this gift draws Logan into a very complex and very unexpected world within both contemporary Japan, and to some degree the feudal history of Japan. The quality of this story is that it takes Logan on such a challenging personal journey. He's so in isolation, so out of his element. It's a much more powerful distillation of his character than you've seen before. It's why people have always love this particular story."

The new picture looks good. Wolverine looks like a professional that is going to a business meeting! But i would like see to a picture of Silver Samurai now.

In Origins it was just sad how those claws made the final cut of the film. That bathroom scene still gives me nightmares.

Well it looked very shiny and those claws were still brand new.

rumor has it the teaser will be attached to new die hard movie which is a fox release

Once again, Fox is skimping out on X-Men movie marketing. A Super Bowl teaser could have really jumpstarted the hype machine for this. Instead, Fox bought no teasers at all during the game.

They were badly rendered and composited and couldn't even live up to special effects from 2000.

Exciting Hugh comments from Empire.

"I still don't think we've seen the definitive Wolverine. And the longer I play the character, the more the desire to get him right grows. The more I speak to fans and explore his world, the more it means to me. Look, there's no question that it's a great role. I didn't fully understand that when I went in, you know? The pressure now is way more. I feel I understand why there's the passion. I understand the character and the legacy and I don't feel, up until this movie, that we've completely lived up to that. So that's what I intend to do."

It certainly sounds encouraging. I'm hoping he stays on for a few movies yet. Though reading that I can't help but wonder if maybe he would consider directing a Wolverine movie at some point.

Very intriguing and exciting comments!
