So what other characters do we expect to see in this movie?
I never heard of it.... Sounds like a combination of Nuke and Nitro though. What ever happened to that rumour of that American mutant adversary that Wolverine might face? The army guy who was supposed to burst into flames or something. I'm not quite sure. Was that debunked ages ago?
I just wonder how much further after X3 this takes place...
I mean we assume Storm went on to run the school with iceman and kitty as teachers and possibly the occasional help of beast.... But what if the reason he left and "all his friends are gone" is because the mansion was destroyed, storm killed, and presumably kitty and Iceland didn't survive. And this "burst into flame guy" hired by the military, did it? Wolverine tracks him to Japan, kills him. And scratches at old scars while uncovering a much bigger story... Ending the film with wolverine coming back to the states where sentinels have taken over
That's what id bet on as well but mangold has said "wolverines friends are dead" which surely can't just mean jean, cyke , and xavier imo.... Not only that... But after the events of X3 id also wonder why Wolverine wouldn't feel paranoid about not being there to protect the x-kids. Surely the world isn't going to be "thrilled" about mutants... More so than everNot sure. I don't see it happening though. It would feel too much like DoFP was using The Wolverine as a prologue that way. I think Wolverine feels lost after killing Jean and the state the X-men are left in at the end of X3 and he goes to Japan to find himself.
They both feel like offshoot Wolverine Jrs. to me.
They both feel like offshoot Wolverine Jrs. to me.
I like, X-23, I'd like to see her eventually

Rila has just completed shooting of The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold, sixth installment in the X-Men saga, hitting theatres this July. She says it was very exciting to step into the clothes of an assassin for six months alongside a star of the caliber of Hugh Jackman. Physically and mentally, the set was a very demanding professional step for Rila. The psychological introspection necessary for playing a character in a movie was a radical change for her and she still hasn’t completely gotten used to it. She tells me that she is also a perfectionist, with very high expectations for herself, and is tensely awaiting the release of the film.
I'm trying to catch up on the news with this movie. Could someone fill me in on what is known about the Jean Grey cameo?
Or is that it? Just that its known she has a cameo.
