Wolvie is chopping wood for the beach fire. Gonna be the most dramatic and emotional scene in the whole movie. Also; DAT SHOULDER.

Well I guess it is called 'The Wolverine' for a reason. Looks like we're gonna see a lot of Hugh before this is done. :oldrazz:

I was hoping we were done with wifebeaters

well considering he'd look less effective with sleeves.... add that to the fact he's not the type to walk around shirtless EVERYwhere.. lol

nothin wrong with the wife beater

The wife-beater look is practically as iconic as any of his comic costumes, I'd be surprised if it didn't turn up in this film.

Yup! In Marvel Ultimate Alliance videogame, it was his costume.

Now, I loved X 1&2
but that sorta crap is all the movies fault
why the hell do i get stuck in jeans and a wife-beater, when I want to play as the friggin' Wolverine?!?
Comics and videogames have no excuse at all to not use the blue-and-yellow

or at least brown-and-yellow or black-and-grey

The Origins game lets you change to those costumes.

He was regularly shown wearing jeans and wife-beater in the comics a long time before the movies. Mark Silvestri used to do it all the time in the early 90s. It's probably been used more since the movies though.

I also saw him wearing jeans/wife-beater in the 90s X-Men animated series.

Hugh auctions those shirts off for charity when he does Broadway shows. Although he doesn't call them "wife-beaters". He and Daniel Craig were calling them that when they did a play together (they were both auctioning off their shirts), and a woman in the audience yelled out that she'd give them $100 right now if they would stop using that expression. Apparently Hugh jumped off the stage, gave the woman a hug, and promised they wouldn't say it anymore.

And they didn't say it again. They called them tank tops when I saw the show. And they raised $15,000 for those shirts at the show I saw. :wow:

I was partial to the flannel shirt with wife beater underneath.

Anyone else think Hugh is starting to show his age a little bit?... I couldn't help but think it while watching the Oscars.

I didn't watch the Oscars, but I watched the Baftas and he seemed fine to me (Stephen Fry made a joke about him at the start and you see a close up of him).

Well lucky for him Wolvie doesn't look 20 in the comics. :p
