Next Assassin's Creed Game Reportedly Set During The Viking Age

Its a day 1 purchase for me, unless it gets mediocre reviews like below 70 in metacritic.

It looks cool but don't know I think I'm kinda burned out on the franchise. I enjoyed Origins but the games are different now and don't truly feel like AC to me. I think the series peaked with III or IV

They are trying to give themselves some space with Cyberpunk coming out. honestly, I am considering getting this at launch now, so it worked for me.

I'm happy that social stealth and those flying notes are back. But I need something less fantastical and a more urban/city setting after Valhalla.

Could anyone help me here. I'm thinking of buying the Gold Edition which is like 16 dollars more expensive. The standard edition is only 42 dollars which is a big difference.

So if I get the season pass, how do I I download it from uplay? I'm confused as I thought I would just get a redeem code but the Ubisoft site said, that an uplay app is required. How do I get an Uplay app?

Also I was playing Ac syndicate the other day and finally linked it my uplay account ,but when I used it to download items (Ezio costume) and use my coins for the exclusive Uplay weapons. I can't activate them in the game after purchasing and when I tried to redeem again, according to uplay , I already redeemed them? It left me confused.

And i don't want this to happen if I get the Gold Edition of Valhalla and just redeem nothingbecause I'm clueless.

Come on, now they do this kind of **** on purpose right?
I mean how can you "miss" all the female assassins? I know they dont have too many to begin with, but missing the few they have...isnt an accident or so.

At this point they just do it for the laugh it seems.

The character models could have been better. It looks like a downgrade from Odyssey. Also, I don't think I'm picking up the Gold Edition. It will probably have new locations like Origins and Odyssey, but eXcluding the dlcs, those two are big enough and I'm expecting this to keep me busy for a month. Also I'm not going to paying 80 dollar for 1 game.

I won't play anytime soon but I look forward to getting round to this after I've caught up on this series.

There's speculation online that Assassin's Creed 2022 could be Mongol Invasion set in China. Thatwould be cool especially if they feature Mongolia as setting as well. And I don't think I've played any games set in China. I always see China Town in games but not the country itself. And iirc, parts of Resident Evil 6 were set in Hong Kong not exactly in mainland China.

This Valhalla game as I predicted will mostly take place England especially with the invasion aspect and ugh tbh. I have had taste of England in so many games now, Syndicaten specifically and especially with Watch Dogs Legion coming out before this game. It would have been cool to play a full game/map just set in Norway.

I noticed a cutscene where Eivor was wearing a helmet. Thank God. The developers of Odyssey absolutely refused to add that despite being begged. *******s.

This is music to my ears. Can I ask where you heard this rumour?

Reddit as a source is 99% BS.
Again its speculation. The speculation I was talking about from reedit/YouTube didn't flat out say China and Mongolia are 100% happening. Its nothing different to this forum predicting what could happen in future films and games. And I didn't tell you to believe it either, I was just posting the current discussion happening online regarding the next Ac game after Valhalla.

That's great. Speculation is fun. Reddit is still 99.99% BS.

Assassin's Creed games are notorious for being leaked (usually by Ubisoft) to build hype. I wouldn't entirely dismiss any rumors right off the bat. There is bound to be hints at what the next game might be in Valhalla.
