Apocalypse Nightcrawler in the Apocalypse Movie

Yes, introducing us to Nightcrawler and then later finding out that he is actually the son of Mystique is not going to be on the level of the Star Wars reveals, but for the general audience, who has no real knowledge of the comic canon, it will be a slight shock.

More importantly, in this movieverse, the conception of Kurt was likely caused by the events that were caused by Erik choosing to leave Mystique and the Brotherhood. Yes, we know it was because he was trying to save Kennedy, a fellow mutant, but Raven never knew that. From her point of view Erik choose to leave her which would likely lead to some negative feelings.

So my point is that Kurt's parentage most likely applies to the story and to the resolution between Raven and Erik, which makes me think 100% that it will be included!
Hello. Well apparently, The Apocalypse will give heavy focus on Mystique and Magneto's blossoming romance. Her and Beast's bond will have a setback.
They want to bank on the star powerhouse status of JL and MF, for the franchise.

So, exactly like the last two films in this trilogy.

I have heard many people say this and i think What was said was taken out of context, I can't remember who said it but they said they would look into the magneto and raven thing but not once was it said it would be the main focus or a bigger focus then anything else that's going on like say for example xavier and Moira

It's like kinberg saying well in apocalypse charles will lose his hair and then everyone saying oh well I guess the whole film will be about him losing his hair

There will be an emphasis on their relationship building. I know it's not the whole movie, since Apocalypse is in the title. You don't have to preach me me what context it was said in. I'm not about issues. From now on we can ignore each other. Thankfully there is the ignore function.

Slow West trailer. Fassbender and Smit-McPhee.

No more image inducers, bloody get the actors to agree to the make up process and tell them to stop their moaning

Agreed, so far we haven't had one mutant actually remain the colour they are meant to be. Even Mystique after FC, in DOFP she kept going to her human form and I am just over it. Especially for the fact this series themes are meant to be about discrimination, race, gender, sexuality

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....!!!
No more human form for Beast, Mystique, and definitely not for Nightcrawler.
This. I am done with 100% human looking characters who are supposed to be something else. Didn't like it in Charmed don't like it here. Show, don't tell.

No it isn't. Its on discrimination/prejudice/social injustice

Which encompasses all of the things I pointed out... Race (mutants are a race technically) , gender inequality, sexuality (being different to the norm). These are all clear themes within the world of x-men

The Xmen dont key on those things. Not at all. Those just happen to be forms of the way social injustice or prejudice are depicted.
But theres discrimination against the overweight, religious oppression, social discrimination etc.... so yeah the Xmen doesn't key on those specific forms. A movie like Remember the Titans does

The X-Men films are thematically about discrimination and acceptance. The things I said are all part of those issues in a larger sense. The X-Men films that we have seen symbolise so many of those things, Religion with Nightcrawler, Oppression with the registration act, acceptance even just with fc and mystique, Sexuality was hinted at with the coming out scene in X2 and obviously the social prejudices that the two ideologies of MLK and Malcom X run through Xavier and Magneto.

These are all things that the comics and cartoons were built on and so have the films been. The X-Men films to me have always been more about social commentary than anything else, heck, even with apocalypse there are going to be huge religious points that go back to the bible and potentially Isis and religous extremists.

It doesn't specify it. It really isnt like other films like Ghandi that focus on injustice of a specific sense. To say it does is to make light of those films is all im saying. The Xmen in general has highlighted discrimination prejudice etc but not in a specific sense. That is just the reality.

Well just because you guys are so against image inducer that means it's definitely gonna happen!!

LoL

:( You're probably right. We already have two up and coming young actors playing blue mutants in human form for the majority of the film.

I don't see what the big issue would be with Kurt having an image inducer at least in some portions of the movie. I don't see how he could function in the world without at least something to cover his normal appearance.

You have to remember, mutants weren't outed in First Class - they were brought to attention in DOFP so by 1983, mutant hate is still going to be high. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they used something to hide his appearance at least early in the film.

It could be a great teaching moment between Nightcrawler and an older Beast.
