I know I'm gonna get alot of hate for this,but I saw The Excorcist a couple months ago, cause I hear how people say its the scariest movie ever and such. But I gotta say I found alot of it slow, but like Sawyer said somethings find funny.

Meh, tbh, I still find the movie to be scary as hell. The voice of thel ittle girl was perfect for satan's voice.

I loved the movie and all, in fact I'll say it's probably one of my favorite horror films, but there were some parts that were just too much. Like the girl stabbing her private parts with a crucifix and wiping the blood on her mom. I was like "Okay, okay, okay... I get the whole possession thing, but come on!" The climax was fantastic though.

Anyway, my favorites by decade...

1970s: The Exorcist, Carrie, The Omen, Dawn of the Dead, Halloween, The Amityville Horror.
1980s: The Shining, Evil Dead, Halloween II, Poltergeist (a personal favorite of mine), A Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead II, Halloween 4.
1990s: Tremors, Army of Darkness, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, From Dusk Til Dawn, Scream, Scream 2, The Faculty, Halloween H20, Sleepy Hollow, The Sixth Sense.
2000s: Final Destination (I liked the first one), Scream 3, 28 Days Later, Frailty, Freddy vs. Jason, Wrong Turn, Dawn of the Dead, Cursed (so bad, but I cant help but like it), Halloween, The Hitcher, The Last House on the Left, Friday the 13th.

They should sell the new Freddy claw, That be badass I buy one of those.

ohh, speaking of new Freddy Claws. I saw a nice one at a local halloween shop that just opened. They had a cheaper version that looked like ****. But the other one looked pretty decent, I think it was only 20 bucks. But i think the blades were plastic. They had a freddy mask that looked awful though.

Yeah, most of the masks are bad. and plus the reason the blades are plastic is cause they think people would use them as weapons if they were made with real knifes. there was a story a while back of a attacking his roommate with a homemade Freddy glove and cutting him pretty badly.

I think someone on this board said they had a good one with rubber knives, and it was durable. Sounds like a good idea.

There are a few people who make REAL Freddy gloves. They cost anywhere from $100 to 200 bucks. They look really nice and are solid copper and steele blades. I'm currently working on one myself, just as a project. But if you want a real one, look up Knife Gloves or Nightmare Gloves or something like that. You'll find someone who makes them professionaly.

I bought a Freddy glove for like $40 from a Halloween store last year that had metal claws (non-sharpened of course) and metal fingers and such. The pegs holding the fingers to the glove however broke on me (well 2 of the 4), but my Dad did some soddering (sp?) and reattached them much better than they were. Still, nice prop.

I gotta say that this is the only horror remake Ive ever looked forward to. Havent even seen Friday the 13th or Last house on the Left and dont really care to. Got more important things to do and watch. But I will say that the reason Im so excited about this is because of Jackie Earle Haley. As someone who went into Watchmen never having actually read the book then seeing how absolutely breathtaking his performance as Rorshach was I think he will be one amazing and non-disappointing replacement for Englund. After watching the directorcs cut of Watchmen about 5 times now I think Ive decided I wanna get a Rorshach tattoo. Him and Boba Fett they are like the 2 most absolutely utterly badass characters ever in all of Geekdom

speaking of "replicas", I own a Neca Jason replica mask from the new film. I usually buy mostly Spider-Man stuff, etc, but the mask just had a great price and I decided to go with it. I just couldn't turn it down.
