The Dark Knight No Joker scenes will be cut

I do hope all of Ledger's scenes stay, it is the last ever movie he will ever be in by the looks of things so let us see it all, kudos to Nolan if he keeps all of Heath's scene's in.

Well you can't really put it like that though, that's like calling families or friends of someone who was on Flight 93 "sensitive *****es" like you said when watching Flight 93 for the first time.
Thats a different scenario though. Flight 93 was about the event of their death. This is really unrelated to Heaths death.

Agreed, this scene has nothing to do with Heath's death and clearly isn't trying to capitalize on it. Half a year later means it stops being 'too soon'

I have no idea how people can be thinking that they're trying to capitalize on his death with this scene. They shot it while he was alive :o

Well films seem to cut out images of the WTC sometimes in old films that are sometimes shown on TV. 'Cause they don't want to strike the wrong nerve while they're watching a film based in NYC. It just seems like a delicate situation anyways, I mean Heath Ledger being in a body bag in his final completed film. Nolan doesn't want to strike the wrong nerve or anything. That's all this is really about I think. But I think he is going to keep the scene, and I definitely think it should be in there. I think this negative reaction to this scene by test audiences is probably blown over a 'lil bit too. But also I think that these "audiences" who watched a cut of the film weren't so well informed on the Joker like we are through hype, virals, research etc., and as soon they saw this scene were probably like "My goodness, this is horrible. Why would Nolan put Heath Ledger in a bodybag in this film, I wanna speak to the manager!" :whatever:

That would be really confusing if they did it in Trading Places :funny:

Yeah, but I read it about it all the time though. *shrug*

Ha, noway there showing it to test audiences. People would be a buzz with spoilers right now. I go to the Screening Exchange test screenings all the time here in SoCal, and I guarantee there wont be screenings of TDK. No need to lol, tix will sell, I am sure WB wouldnt waste time and money with test screenings. Which make me think this whole story originating from the south american article is rubbish. I bet someone working on post in TDK gabbed to his wife about the scene, then she told her friends at the hair salon when they brought up Heath Ledger, and that lead to all this "bodybag scene might be cut" rumors going around. One media outlet runs with it, then they all do capitalizing on the Heath Ledger news. Though I don't doubt one minute Chris will keep everything in the film, but any fan who knows Chris or had been following TDK would know that.

Agreed. Sounds like classic gossip, or a game of 'telephone'.

Maybe Nolan went incognito for screening the film the first time and went overseas where there weren't Bat-nuts like us to South America, :ninja:-style

The scene won't get cut, it can't. That would be disrespectful to both Heath and Nolan. As mentioned before, this was filmed BEFORE Heath's death.

That is, if this scene really is in the movie...

It's not teh Heath in the bodybag...it's teh goddamn Jokerz!

:hoboj:

And you know, if this is indeed the case and it WAS the family and friends of Heath who wanted it cut, I might understand.

But some random soccar mom or yuppie jackass who wants to stick their nose in where it doesn't belong shouldn't have any say in anything ever.

I agree whole heartedly, I never understood crying over somone I've never met. Especially when like a good half of the people who are all whiney about him dying wouldn't give a **** if the guy wasn't the Joker.

new stuff and:

Pop Tarts has also been told that Warner Bros. may be considering cutting scenes from the new film that show the Joker in a body bag after audiences got upset during a prescreening.

"It's highly likely that that will be modified," an insider said.

What a BS article. We saw Heath while he was filming. He was skateboarding, talking and laughing with the crew members, and acting pretty like himself when offset from what we could see. It's good to know that in addition to spreading propaganda Fox News also likes to spread around fake celebrity rumours :whatever:

exactly, just a sad attempt to stir up controversy

I'd also question the knowledge of an "insider"

My insider said their insider is wrong and I base that on not a god damn thing.

It's Fox News... so yeah... they have no credibility.

He was dressed like the Joker when he was skate boarding though...dun dun dun

Nah, that sounds like the bull***** that was going around when he died: the Joker role pushed him over the edge nonsense
