Eh, I guess whatever happens happens. Still I'm sick of seeing this,
"RAH, RAH, Roben suks out loud guise. Betmen, despite bein fiction wuld NEVER raise a kid simila to a son. Nolan is teh best filmteller and storymacker along wit hes little bro J-Nol evar! wuteveer teh best goddamn batmen, BALE seyz is TRUE. Nevar pleyed roben, cuz roben sucks. I believe wutevar the media and mega stahs tell meh. Forevar sooks, cuz everyone tink so.
REALISTIC, REALISTIC, REALISTIC, er, HYPA WEREALITY, Betmen can HAPPON IRL!
WHO'S WIT me? Da great poll of poweh speaks fer itself amirite?!"
Then watch, we'll get word that Nolan is actually including Robin because he thinks that the character is a challenge and that he'd like to pull it off brilliantly. Then all the fanboys will be like,
"ROBEN IS TEH GREATEST SIDEKICK EVAH. DONE SO EPICALLY. NOLEN I WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABIES!"
Forget about roben, er, I mean Robin for a second and think about this. Would our Begins/Dark Knight Batman really not give a damn if a child witnessed the brutal murder of his parents like he did? Would he just let it go, especially if that kid had no other family to go to?
OF COURSE NOT. Batman can still be a dark lone vigilante while at the same time a millionare playboy that adopts a child. For the sake of storytelling imagine what the public would think.
"Bruce Wayne adopting a child, that careless playboy? Must be something in for him, I'd sooner send my kid off with Batman!"
Stuff like that. It could work, be dark, and REALISTIC.
