Nolan is really super mad that JLA is being made!

having said that it doesnt mean the WB shouldnt feel some sense of gratitude towards mr. nolan and the rest of the crew responsible for batman begins. regardless of your personal opinions about nolan and begins he gave warner bros. a movie that was not only successful at the box office, it was very well recieved by critics, the fanbase, and the general public. he showed that these characters can be made into viable films despite the one two punch of batman and robin and catwoman nearly dealt all dc on film projects impotent.

wb probably wouldnt even be going ahead with this project had begins and (to a lesser extent ) superman returns been complete failures.

So what, should WB just ask Mr. Nolan before making use of THEIR character, so he won't get mad and punish them? What if he says:

Nolan: "You know what....I'm not liking this Justice League idea. Not my kind of film."

WB Exec: **Giggling nerviously** "Right, hehe. OK. Chris, We hear you. Oh God what were we thinking!

To assistant: Call Miller and tell him to CANCEL EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW. We have a "Nolan Red Alert: Nolan Don't Approve" situation! Justice League is OFF until further notice! **whispering** make that unrtil Nolan approves!

Please.

I don't think the man has time to be pissed about anything but whatever complications he might have had with TDK. He has even been directly asked if he is pissed about JLA and he said "Not Really" ... As it should be, IMO.

Guys I like Nolan, and what he has done for Mr. Wayne, but his opinion should not matter when it deals with future DC movies.

Yes. :yay:

Come to think of it your right. If they were using Nolan's version of Batman for the JLA film then I think Nolan should have a say. Not a say like legally speaking but more in spouting off to the media sort of say.

There you go!

In all honestly I wouldn't care if we got 5 different versions of batman in the span of 1 year. Really don't, as long as it is a DC movie getting made, Im all for it!

So basically you have no argument, right?

no, i have a surplus of argument. what i dont have is time my friend. it is far too precious to waste. i need to climb a tree and play in the snow. feel the wind in my hair once more...

I've never been in the snow. :csad:
"Young boys should find time to play in the snow with each other", a kiosk saleswoman once told me while trying to get me to buy that fake snow stuff they sell now. For reals.

did you say this or not? that is exactly the statement i was addressing. that is a foolhardy thing to say and belies how much you apparently dont know about filmaking.

and the second part isnt even accurate. chris nolan co wrote both stories and both screenplays bub.

you should temper yourself next time you call someone ignorant as it seems you are the one not in possesion of the facts.

i think #2 applies best here but the others are relevant as well.
i know whay ignorant means and yes i was ignorant in my statement about him writting the scripts. but you were ignorant as well in your statement about me being an artist.

and although yes he did direct them, theyre owned by WB, they gave out the contract, they hired him, theyre the big company.

Yes. :yay:

Makes sense from the studio that endorsed Batman and Robin and CINO.

So? I think WB has proven they are taking their comic book pictures seriously. Batman Begins, Constantine, V for Vendetta, Superman Returns, 300, the upcoming TDK and Watchmen (wich are both shaping up to be awesome)...That's a great track record. Batman & Robin? that was a long time ago. CINO? sure. They made a mistake there. But they have more than made up for it. You're just bitter.
