That would be totally awesome. Unfortunately, if what I've heard is true, it is highly unlikely to ever happen. My former roommate is a HUGE Gargoyles fan, and according to him the creator of Gargoyles and it's characters had a falling out with Disney.
According to my old roommate, the guy who developed Gargoyles for Disney was very particular about quality control. He insisted that every episode be up to his very high standards. Throughout the second season, Disney was insisting on making shortcuts, changing certain elements of the series, etc. Eventually he was forced out, which is why there is a severe drop in quality throughout the third season. Heck, in the Season 3 Premier Episode, Brooklyn was chasing a van full of bad guys while trying to impress Angela and crashed because he wasn't watching where he was going BUT THEY FORGOT TO DRAW WHAT HE CRASHED IN TO.
Anyway, according to my friend, the show's creator has an iron bound contract with Disney. Any time Disney does anything with Gargoyles or its characters they have to pay him a royalty, regardless of whether or not he's with the company. Buying out his contract is too expensive, and not honoring it will lead to a lawsuit which would be even MORE expensive. So out of spite, in order to ensure that he'll never see a penny in royalties, Disney will never produce any Gargoyles DVD's, reboot the series, make a live action movie, develop any action figures, or anything else to do with the series.
At least that's what I've been told.
