One 90s reboot I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned yet is Xena. It would be interesting to see a less campy and more mature approach to the series. Something thats almost a cross between the superhero genre and fantasy epics like Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. Plus you know... it has the whole half naked lesbian amazons thing going for it.

A live action take on these would be good too:

Wow those are two beloved 90s franchise I definitely do not wan't to see them trash with a contemporary live action look.
The unique aesthetic style is such a part of what I like about them. Why abandon that, live action would bring nothing to them, only take away.
And I already hate all the actors cast and they don't even exist yet
Samurai jack is another, although that one if heavily stylized live action could work.
I'd rather those just continue as straight cartoons.
And instead of Jack see something like DC/WB do Miller's Ronin in live action.

Yeah, most Cartoon Network shows are either too stylized or too high-concept to work in live-action. It would be like trying to make a live action Ren and Stimpy; theoretically you could do it, but it would look terrible and require expensive effects for a product that no mainstream audience would ever go see.

I guess but I'd still pay top dollar to see a live action Johnny Bravo with Channing Tatum getting turned down repeatedly.

Yes, but Last Airbender is clearly made in the style of Asian cartoons, it's clearly heavily inspired by them. Adapting Last Airbender would require similar technical and creative skills to adapting an anime, and they failed.

Also, pretty much all American cartoons are actually animated in Asia, usually either Japan or Korea. Especially the animated series from the 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's. Not only The Last Airbender, but the 2002 reboots of He-Man & The Masters Of The Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman TAS, Spiderman TAS, Superman TAS, the list goes on and on. So technically, ALL animated shows are Asian.

I can't believe I didn't suggest this one myself. I freaking LOVED that show (well, most of it anyway, it jumped the shark for me when Xena emacculately conceived a child). Don't know if I'd make it less campy though. After all, that was part of its charm. But I certainly wouldn't wipe out everything about Greek mythology in order to usher in Christianity. That just ruined the whole damn show.

Beast Wars with all the time travel elements has the potential to reboot Transformers right and do a "Days of Futures Past" on it and make everything right again.

I would love for this to happen, except that the current TF movie franchise poses a number of problems that would prevent this from happening more than anything else (No lucrative deals with car manufacturers, no extended-Army-recruitment-promo scenes, no recognizably [modern, anyway] human characters, more 'Transformer tech on prehistoric Earth' rehashery, etc.).

In other words, a BW movie would have to have as many fundamental changes from its source, if not more, as Bay's movies do in order to work at all. Not that I'm saying they couldn't do that (or wouldn't, frankly)...I'm not that much of a purist.

Didn't they drop the army recruitment bit for the last film? The choice of using only human characters at this points seems to come more from Bay, With the latest successes i think a film centered on the robots would still be able to be successful.

Well, they were sort of based on Japanese uniforms, in least in some of the aesthetics in them, either way, Hollywood has proven in the past 20 years that no matter how weird or ridiculous, they can redesign anything into a cool uniform, been proved by most of the latest superhero film releases.
