So going by all the leaked promo art so far it looks like the main team Avengers 4 will be Tony, Steve, Thor, Banner, Natasha, Rhodey, Clint, Scott, Carol, Rocket and Nebula. I must say that it was one hell of an interesting team up, especially with Rocket and Nebula being there. They must get some major upgrades while spending time on Earth and I really can't wait to see what kind of new toys they are going to get this time around. Hopefully, we get to see Rocket, Tony and Banner working together to come up with some cool stuff.

More Karen Gillan is always very welcome too of course.

A speculation about connections between AoU and A4

Remember Tony's vision in A4 with Avengers dead, Chitauri roaming around and Cap telling Tony that it's his fault? It may be a scene from A4 where Tony time-travels to the first Avengers but screws things up, which leads to Avengers being defeated and dead, and Chitauri winning.
That makes Tony try another fix-it time travel scenario.

They've finally stopped the sham of giving him a mask he's just gonna tear off.



So the Russos justified Thanos not wearing his armor in the first movie by saying that it was pointless since the Infinity Stones made him powerful enough that he wouldn't need to protect himself in the first place. He's wearing the armor again here...I wonder if the damaged state the Gauntlet was in at the end of IW has something to do with it?

It maybe before he gets some of the stones themselves, given there is time travel involved.

I think the wound of Stormbreaker will still be there so he knows he can be hurt. It could also be before he gets the stones but I want to see them fight the Thanos that actually beat them. The Gauntlet looked damaged but I think it can still be used just not to the level of another snap.

I suspect in keeping with the theme of the original story, it's gonna turn out that maybe the snap wasn't indiscriminate and subconsciously he left the original old school team alive to eventually defeat him because he knows he deserves to be.
