I want the post credit scene to be another schwarma scene but with all of the Avengers.

Post-credits scene will be nearly every actor in that "class photo" eating the shawarma catered at Tony's funeral.

I think he was refering to Benedict Cumberbatch's lines.

I doubt Spider Man has any idea what Quantum Realm is.

With Holland, you never know if he’s legit spoiling something without even realizing it.

IMAX listed Avengers 4 as an April 2019 release. I'm guessing they're going to do the same thing they did with Infinity War and release it worldwide the same weekend.

I definitely had the feeling they would do it again. Hopefully this gets confirmed.

Think Cap Marvel will get moved forward too? Seems like they're way too close together. Especially after what happened with black Panther this year

Hmm, they are very close now aren’t they.

What do you mean by what happened with BP? I thought both BP and IW benefited from being close to each other?

If I remember correctly, BP got a small boost at the box office after Infinity War was released.

Barring some sort of behind the scenes disaster in post, I don't think Captain Marvel is moving since it's scheduled for release on International Women's Day.

I doubt Captain Marvel is going to be moved up to February, given the time crunch in post-production anyway. March 8 is a perfect spot.

I expect Disney to announce that Avengers 4 will be released day-and-date worldwide on April 26 within the next few weeks. The placement is directly after Shazam! (April 5) and before Godzilla: King of the Monsters (May 31), so it sounds about right.

I wonder how far away we are from Marvel trying a January release. Marvel proved that February doesn't have to be a dumping ground.

It was a decent boost yeah. Plus having BP just before IW and then the trailer for IW heavily featuring Wakanda, it turned into great marketing and a hype boost for IW too.

Captain Marvel and A4 will be in the theaters the same time that is for sure. I was not the only one in my theater to see BP right before Iw on preview night. Probably do the same with Captain Marvel.

It will be Captain Marvel's 8th weekend at the box office, even if there wasn't another MCU film out it would be making under $5 million that weekend.

Pushing Avengers 4 back a week helps out Disney's Aladdin and hurts Shazam!, Pet Sematary and The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle a bit.

March 8 is International Women's Day. There's no way that Marvel is going to move the film and not capitalize on that just like they made sure to encourage classes to go to Black Panther for Black History Month.

Marvel didn't prove that, they just set the bar. Movies like Fifty Shades of Grey, The Lego Movie and Deadpool had already proven to be successful February releases.

Hayley Atwell has said that she will not reprising as Agent Carter in Avengers 4.

I don't think she would have been needed. A flashback or Cap seeing a vision of her might be forced imo. Peggy is gone in the up to date time line, she should only appear in movies like Captain Marvel that are in the past.

'Avengers 4' Is Casting for a Butt Double
By KOFI OUTLAW - August 14, 2018

If you've ever had a wish to be in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, and think you've got the goods to (literally) back it up, then this is the announcement you've been waiting for: Avengers 4 needs a butt, and it might be yours!

A casting call has gone out in Georgia (USA) for "Photo Double" who will work on an "exciting project." The title of the film is "Mary Lou," aka the Avengers: Infinity War (and Avengers 4) working title. The measurements for the body double seem to imply a stand-in for Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, and the requirement of a photo displaying "full body shot of your back side (Wearing ALL BLCK, legging or yoga pants- must be form fitting)," seems to imply it's for a Marvel movie "money shot," likely during one of Widow's action moments.

Body doubles are nothing new in Hollywood, as even an actress as renowned for her beauty as Scarlett Johansson sometimes uses a substitute who has assets that are more camera-friendly than a star's. At this stage in her life and career, Johansson shouldn't have to worry about such matters — especially when it's a case of satisfying the frivolous requirements of Marvel movie titillation. Here's hoping she finds a double that will do her proud.

The MCU has practically made a brand requirement out of showing off the bodies of its heroes and heroines. The latter case is nothing new — as comics have pretty much always sexualized their female characters — but the MCU has been progressive(?) in the way that it's put its man-meat on constant display, with actors like Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Chris Pratt all popping off their shirts for some lingering camera shots. It's almost poetic that while the boys still have to do all the work and crazy nutrition regiment required to show off their abs, the girls are delegating those obligations to other working professionals.

Be on the lookout for this body double's big break, when Avengers 4 hits theaters.

Avengers: Infinity War is now available as a digital download and on Blu-ray and DVD on August 14th. Ant-Man and the Wasp is now playing in theaters. Upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies include Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019; Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019; Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th, 2019; and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.

Great points by everyone. Yeah, I think March 8 and April 26 are just about far enough for it to work. Cap Marvel will probably get a nice boost if they market it correctly. As a fan, absolutely can't wait. Will be the greatest 7-8 weeks in the cinema ever!!!
