Ohh lol
I was thinking Scott Stapp instead of Scott Speedman for a second there

and now I realize how much Stapp and Speedman look alike:

Impossible in the muti plex era for simple crowd control reasons even with assigned seats. But more importantly because it is all about money, adding an intermission means that screen turn around time is even longer and less screenings can be scheduled and its all about money in the land of milk and honey to paraphrase Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Maybe they would sell more food and drink if they did that? I don’t get a drink any more so I don’t have to get up.

I would love it but We all know shorter run times more mean more show times which is more money.
Yes, I'm thinking this as well. To be on the SAFE side -- if this film DOESN'T end up being 3 hours (w/ credits), it will probably be 2:45-2:48ish (w/ credits).

Its crazy atleast weknew when to expect the next avengers film or a thor 3 etc.

Right now we just know far from home, black widow and black panther 2. I have a strong feeling their not gonna wait long to introduce xmen once that merger goes though.
They'll give some air and time to breathe after ENDGAME for sure before the X-MEN / F4 but I believe they'll be pivotal to the MCU moving forward.

Yes bring it on, I'm ready for 3hrs. It's no big deal.
I would absolutely love that. Grand storytelling in comic book cinema at its finest. But these guys do bring up a good point about lessening the screening count in theaters. Or maybe they would just add more screens for it per theater to make up for it?

Smart thinking on the part of the Russos. Even by Disney-esque standards, the aftermath of universal genocide is no laughing matter. Likewise, the extra time should better allow for meeting the requirements a film of this scope and scale demands.

I'm here for that, and then some!
Couldn't have said it better. It would be a big no if anything in the bold was sacrificed or compromised due to runtime. The Russos are pretty smart though -- and they've said that they serve story first and foremost so I'm confident that if the story requires X runtime due to Y subplot for payoff of Z character...they'll do it.

Looking at that bit of merchandise and if the sizes of the characters are any indication to who will have a bigger/more significant part to play in AEG... I would say that this is the order of importance. From most to least...

Captain America
Iron Man
Hawkeye
Black Widow
Ant-Man
Nebula
Hulk
Thor
Captain Marvel
Rocket
War Machine

Sounds about right when one takes it all into consideration.

I think that Banner will have much bigger role than the marketing lead us to belive up to this point. Also where do you thinik Thanos comes in in order of importace

Near the top. I would say below Cap and probably above IM.

This looks like its shot for the trailer, it doesn't make sense that they would be walking in a singe file.

I wouldn’t say they’re walking in file as Clint is to the left of WM. It’s the camera angle. Looks as if they’re staggered.

I can’t imagine going to a midnight show for a 3 hour movie. I’m old.

I'd concur. But I think one should write it like this

CA/IM having the most
Hawkeye/BW/Thor/Hulk having a big chunk of the film
Ant-Man/CM/Rocket/WM/Nebula having significant roles but less screentime. Equal to their CW appearance (and Nebula's IW apperance).
Everyone else showing up in the last 45 minutes of the film

I'm pretty sure this will be the most screentime Rhodey has had since Iron Man 2.

If this is 3hrs, I do hope they insert an intermission. I have a weak bladder, and though I made it through several long movies without going to the restroom and I rarely use the restroom the first time I see a movie, I'd rather not have the end of the movie tainted for me by thinking to myself "Wrap up so I can go to the bathroom!!!"An intermission would be nice, LOL

(1) Go to the bathroom either during the previews or especially here after the first preview.
(2) See if you can ask theater staff when they expect the actual movie to start, then go to the bathroom ten minutes before. That's what I did for IW. They know how long the trailers are, how long the film is, and the exact time it gets out. Better to go to miss some of the previews rather than risk having to go during (when the films are this long).
(4) Don't drink right before you go in nor during.

An intermission would probably hurt the immersion for me.

Hard to find WM in this. So tiny even Nebula is more in the forefromt.
Well to be fair, given her role in the comics, it’s very possible Nebula has a much bigger role in the movie, so that would be appropriate.

And no intermissions! Here’s where we sort out the weak fans from the strong. If they die, they die.
