Omg. That convo of Tony asking Steve "Do you trust me?".....That's the scenes they filmed in the set-piece that everyone thought was the Battle of NY! I was right! They've CGI-ed Cap's new uniform over the A1 uniform!

I think it's more likely that the Russos filmed separate takes, one with Cap in the A1 uniform (presumably to throw fans off) and one with him in the new suit.

I don’t know. If this happened in my theater I’d be annoyed. I want to hear the movie, not people screaming. I don’t mind applause and an occasional “hell yeah!” but below reaction is obnoxious. Hearing the Avengers score over Thor’s arrival enhanced that scene and you totally miss it with all the hollering.

It's worth noting, that audio's not remotely accurate to the experience, because it's subject to the phone's(?) limited microphone and proximity and all that. I had a cheering crowd during that scene too, but I could still totally hear the music because theater surround sound is powerful.

Anyway, I loved that reaction, lol.

For my first viewing I want all the craziest fans there. For the next 9 I don't really mind as I've had my first time experience and anything goes.

Is there another $50 million more worth from people not already on board? IW barely topped TFA opening. And you have to factor the runtime will limit the showtimes too. It still make a crap ton overall though.
It seems like there's a whole legion of people who didn't try and prebook on day 1 during TFA and IW. I've just never seen a cinema site have a queue that lasts hours just to enter (and this is in England).

For me, it depends on the type of film I'm watching. If it's a mostly serious drama, my tolerance for that kind of behavior isn't especially high. But, as Avengers movies tend to have a relatively fun, family-friendly atmosphere, it's always nice to experience them with an energetic audience the first time around.

I love a good audience that's into the movie but isn't excessively obnoxious. I can't stand people talking like crazy throughout a film, but I do enjoy hearing/seeing people react to different things.

The only poor opening night experience I've had is with Age of Ultron. People just wouldn't stop talking and I ended up missing half the dialogue. Infinity War and Avengers were perfect experiences. Nothing has been as exciting as the group shot in the first film or as haunting as the snapped deaths.

I wouldn't have expected an atmosphere like that in a serious drama, that would be a bit dumb lol.

It's CGI. People have already pointed out the visual artefacts.

I'm glad I booked the VIP theatre. During IW, it was amazing and at the end, you could hear a pin drop. The crowd was shocked.

The last straw was when parents brought their 6 year Deadpool. After that, it was VIP all the way and haven't regretted it since.

This is what I love about going opening night and weekend, yeah I'll see it more than once to get hear anything even one more time towards the end of it's run in the theater. I was watching another audience reactions video the other day just get more hype for Endgame. For me it's about everyone reacting at the right moments.

As others have mentioned, I haven't noticed any issues at opening night shows. VIP is great, but the adults only rule can be a problem. A friend brings his 13-year old son with us and I couldn't imagine going to these showings without him. It was so much fun having a 13-year who is growing up with the MCU with us for Infinity War. The MCU is like the original Star Wars trilogy for him. I can only imagine that the gut punch he felt at the end was what it was like for kids seeing The Empire Strikes Back for the first time.

I wonder what it will be like decades later for guys like that. Maybe the same reverence as our generation had for Star Wars. I hear this in Asian countries too where many are newer to Western cinema and say the MCU is their Star Wars.

I saw that earlier and honestly I thought it was fake at worst, but apparently its real. Straight madness and I remember how crazy it was last year when it came to IW in Mexico. This looks like its on a whole other level though.
I think it's crazier as IW really delivered, and now EG is really unpredictable for a final film on top of expecting at least IW quality but this time with real resolutions.

One the posters at BOT who tracks screen counts said that IW ended with 182 screens in his region, Endgame is already at 186 screens, and will most likely finish at 250 screens according to him. Almost a 40% screen count increase to counter the longer runtime, 300m OW is happening...

Not so much the cheering and clapping, but you still get plenty of talkative types with larger audiences. Whatever the case, I'm just saying that certain types of movies demand more of our attention than others. Traditional popcorn flicks, however, can still be enjoyed for the most part even if you miss the occasional quip or explosion. Also, the rewatch factor tends to be stronger here.

Like I said, I am here for Rocket just doing stuff, all of the stuff.

Ok so this shot here... How much time has actually passed??

Tony's hair looks grown out from last we saw him and of course Widows hair is MUCH longer down to her waist maybe from her shoulders in the last scene we see her in, so.....?
