I like how Marvel went from showing a guy building a working mech suit in a cave while making it relatively believable, to a sentient talking tree and raccoon in the span of 5 years or so. As I always say, it took the DCEU until the END of Man of Steel to even SAY the name "Superman", and then, in Civil War, you have Ant-Man running up Captain America's shield which is being held by Spider-man while they are in an airport in Germany. One of those universes crashed and burned, and the other one is the MCU.

(not hating on DC, but the heavily shared universe just doesn't work for them)
And what's (maybe) worse is that the "successes" for the DCEU -- WONDER WOMAN, AQUAMAN, and SHAZAM!...don't necessarily "fix" the issues of the shared universe. They might make it worse, actually. I'm not a DC hater either -- I'm WAITING until that FLASH film gets made (ugh).

Evans really gets to it in that roundtable discussion put out this week. While there are SOME errors within the MCU...it's unbelievable the continuity and interconnection it's accomplished. It's literally comics in film form. In the best way. I always said Marvel Studios marries comics and film together.

It could have worked if
A, if they had made solo films first
B, hired an Abrams or jackson
C, made batman and superman a world's finest film instead of a vs one.

Bottom line is WB wanted that Avengers momey so they rushed into JL, but someone forgot to tell them it has to be a good film first.

yeah that shot pretty much confirms we're getting Professor Hulk.

Such a shame we didn't get C.

Like with clips and tv spots, I'll be avoiding all reviews including fans! I'll be avoiding anything Avengers related for a couple of days before release and just go in mostly blind except for the trailers and a few things

that's a funny image. where you watching it at? I caught MI: Fallout last summer with my gf in Gdansk. She was so bored haha. I hadn't known you could watch foreign films with subs in Poland; since she had told me all about the Lektor.

Hey, that's my city :) Yeah we get subtitles here. Annoying for me, I never read them. They dub some movies so we get both versions but if they dubbed everything I'll never go to movies anymore, it's barbaric

I can't wait for the spoilers on the 22nd. I just want to know who dies going in so I don't get too upset.

There's going to be a total news black-out for me in the days leading up to my showing on 04/26 (well, at least I'll try!). Even something as simple as an innocent headline can potentially give away a key detail!

I'm curious how emotional the ending of this film will be. The Avengers films have never been particularly emotional. I just finished GOTG Vol. 2, and I still tear up during that ending, especially with Rocket's face. :( I'm curious if "Endgame" will be able to achieve a similar effect. "Infinity War" had some emotional scenes. The ones that got to me were Loki's, Gamora's and Peter's death. The ending was sad, but it was more of a shocking, traumatizing event.

I'm honestly expecting the mid-credit scene to be Steve in heaven with Peggy where he'll finally get that dance and be watched by Yondu, Quicksilver, Maria Castle, Maya Hansen, Jack Murdoch and Yinsen. The stinger after the final credits roll will likely be Bucky and Sam staring at Steve's shield and then each other.

Steve in the comics died shortly after Civil War, Evans' contract is up and Chris Evans said goodbye to the role. Downey or Hemsworth may renew but Evans also said he wanted to direct. I'd be shocked if Cap survived.
