Hope they can bring back 1 of the 2 Iron Man theme, for one last time. I never understand why they create 2 amazing pieces of theme for Iron Man, and used them so little. These 2 are as great as the Avengers theme.

The crossover possibilities in the future are going to be amazing. The GOTG with the F4. Spidey with the X-Men. Spidey with the Human Torch. Although, personally, although I love Tom Holland, I'm not particularly enamored with the approach they've gone for his movies. I'm HOPING as he gets older we can get the Spiderman from the 80's/90's that I've always loved.
The Brood could bring the X-men and Guardians together.
Me: "I won't watch anymore new footage."

Also me: "GIMME GIMME"

I will resist!

Other than too much shoehorning in of future plot points, Ultron was pretty good.

My biggest issue with it was how depowered Ultron was for PG-13 status. In the comics, you can't just take bolts from Ultron's fingers and bounce right back. You'd be dead. Why would a murderous robot who hates the Avengers shoot them with "stun" beams?
That was annoying, and all the team rocket blasting off again moments Ultron had were dumb. I wanted to see at least one fight scene between Ultron and the team, not just the Zerg rush.

He's always been the most amiable of them. If I had to pick one to be at my barbecue, it would be him. Though I suspect feeding him would be more expensive than the others.
You forgot The Incredible Hulk. He probably take a whole cow and pig to satiate.

The weakest and I mean the weakest take down of a villain in a superheroes movie. Not what I was expecting from a boss battle. There was nothing epic at all in AOU... My enjoyment came from just it being an Avengers movie really.

With IW... It's just chock full o' greatness and should be the new standard. LOL

I wouldn't expect any individual hero themes in this movie. I've read they specifically don't do that because they are meant to be team movies and it's jarring trying to get individual scores to mesh.

Watched Winter Soldier last night. Liked it a lot more than I did when it first came out. The Russos truly are gifted. Also finished GOTG. Hoping to get all the important ones done before the 25th!

Silvestri used hints of Caps theme in the first Avengers. He didn't use it in it's full glory though. But I can see him using it here if this is truly Cap's last hurrah.

It probably doesn't help that most of these characters' themes aren't kept in their sequel films. Of the ones that have multi-movie franchises at the moment, I think only Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man use the same theme (with embellishments of course) between their multiple films. The Thor trilogy is good; they at least use very similar melodies throughout all three movies (and are memorable enough to hum along to). Cap's theme is great from The First Avenger (it's actually my favorite part of that movie) and the individual movies in that series have music I really like, but they don't build on each other at all and I don't think the original theme has ever been played again except for that one scene where Loki turns into him in The Dark World.

Ditto,

I watched The Winter Soldier too last night - I used to find Scar-Jo quite smug, but she's get better as the series has gone on.
The lift fight scene is brilliant.

How come you didn't love it when it first came out? I was blown away when I first watched it.

I think in this movie we are going to see the kind of mini-team missions I used to love in Justice League comics. Instead of "Flash and Zatanna go to Africa, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman go to the North Pole" we will see Ant Man and Gamora go here, Cap and Tony go there, etc.

Honestly I wanted to love it, but I just didn't? It was weird. Watching it now I really really like it. Just didn't wow me when I saw it in the theatre. I remember having it as a 6 or 7/10 at best. It's easily an 8.5/10 for me right now. I love rewatching movies and having different opinions on them.
