I suppose Marvel panders to white guys by casting so many damn Chris' in their films :oldrazz::whatever:

It wasn't horrible for me. I loved that shot. It was BadAss. I just wished it had gone on a bit more. Or if we had a shot of some of the female characters awkwardly introducing themselves in the battle (but I guess we got too much of that in Infinity War, so this time it was strictly business).
They should have had a scene of all the Chris characters together to pander to all the guys called Chris out there.

Yep, Marvel is really pandering to the social justice crowd, but as long as the movies continue to be excellent I don't care.

I just hope that all-female shot is the most they go in that direction. That was so forced it was horrible.
How many times in a super hero film or movie in general is there a group shot of men going into action... Explain the lack of any issues with that.

Also... Explain what the pandering is about? What is the end point exactly and why is it an issue if it's done?

When EG is out on home release I don’t think I’ll ever be watching IW or EG without making them part of a double bill. I prefer them both as part of one epic whole complementing each other perfectly.
Indeed. It would be a great way to kill time if say u had annoying in-laws over the weekend.. I mean 5.5 joyous hours flying by and u didn't have to say a single word to them. You'd be rid of them before u know it! Lol.

The credit sequence at the end. That was pretty odd how it was Cheadle first and various other actors out of alphabetical order and then of course the final 6 by the order according to the poster.

:funny: This film isn’t going above the call of duty to help out its loyal followers.

I think the upcoming sequels could be really up my street with the originals out the way (I’ve always been more of a sequel person) - CM2, BP2, DS2, FFH, and then the second sequels GotG3 and AM&W3 (assuming that’s happening). If they can throw in a couple of original Avengers, add in some existing characters like SW, and if some of the brand new characters to be introduced catch fire, then I think we’re in for a great mix.
I'm curious how they'll fit in supporting characters like Falcon, Bucky, War Machine, Scarlett Witch. Maybe that's why theyre being given tv series to flush them out while they give the films to the newbies.

Well I wouldn’t mind if they all go off and do their own thing while the new characters are being introduced, but I sure as hell want them all back and active in the universe asap.

Same here. I want the tv series option for them, but I'd love to see them return for the next Avengers. I figure we probably get Avengers 5 in 2022 (at the earliest). More than enough time for the tv series to be made and shown.

And we can have a whole bunch of main and supporting Avengers in that. Not everyone has to have a big role but I would love if they can all assist in some way.

I'm going to say something crazy and say it gets nominated in a major category.

I agree with what I read up there. I feel like they're going to pull a Return Of The King and nominate Endgame in every major category and even possibly win several. It will also boost the ratings, which is what they always want.

Just got to see the movie with the family today; mileage varied depending on the person but to me, it was very solidly good. Don't want to give full thoughts until I see it again on Tuesday with the new s.o., but it fulfilled my hope of some definitive endings for many of the characters while still acknowledging the obvious "We're not done here yet, see you in a little while" wink and nod. (And one of those threads was actually kinda surprising to me; very curious to see what they do with it.) I didn't feel the full emotional impact of some of the beats but that's simply because this movie really is for the longtime fans, and someone just getting on the train like me is only gonna be able to take it so far, but the weight of those things definitely didn't go unnoticed and I'm quite excited to see what the future brings for the new crop of characters.
