This is an incredible audience reaction clip

I heard that a lot of theater the audiences have a standing ovation at the end of the film. But not at mine !

My theater was full of applause and cheers and gasp. But when the film ended, there was only silence. Everybody stay until the end of the credit roll. No applause, no cheers, no sounds, no whatever. They just sat their, silent.

I'm sure that most of them knew there wasn't any after-credit for Endgame. But they stayed anyway. That to me is as great as a standing ovation.

I'm never gonna forget this experience. One of the best movies I've ever seen and certainly a modern classic. Best CBM ever, alongside TDK.

PS: What I absolutely love in this reaction footage is that
everybody was like "oh no", "pls don't" when Iron Man has all the 6 stones. That's exactly my reaction when I first watched Endgame
People cares about Tony's life more than anything else
That sums up how far this character has gone in 10 years. Absolutely incredible

I agree with what I read up there. I feel like they're going to pull a Return Of The King and nominate Endgame in every major category and even possibly win several. It will also boost the ratings, which is what they always want.

Dude, seriously. Get real.
Endgame IMO is one of the modern classics. But pretty sure it's not gonna be nominated for any major Oscar.
And the comparision with LotR is invalid becuase all 2 LotR prior to Return Of The King both did incredibly at the Oscar (Best Picture, Best Director nominations). I'm sorry but movies like Endgame, while absolutely incredible, not gonna get nominated. TDK, Logan and Black Panther are as close as we get.

Sadly I have to agree with this.

Has anyone commented on the
Jim Starlin (creator of Thanos and writer of the Infinity Gauntlet storyline) cameo, as one of the counselors in the post-snap support group scene
?

That's awesome.
I didn't realize that was him.

Several things came up this weekend (and when I was free, there weren't any good seats available at the theater I usually go to or the times were way too late for me since I'd be getting out of the theater near 10 or 11 PM) so I couldn't see the film and it looks like the earliest I'll see it is next Friday afternoon. I was going to hold out on reading spoilers but decided to catch up and read them so I didn't fall too behind on the discussions. Seems the MCU as we know it will be drastically different going forward. Really going to miss several of the characters who likely won't be returning for future Avenger and/or solo films.

Man I so wanted to love it but while I think it’s good I didn’t love as I thought I would. Kind of deflated from the anticipation. Moving on.

After watching End Game, I realized something when I first saw Paul Rudd in the movie:

- Anchorman was 15 years ago! The fact that he has barely aged, if at all, is amazing.

Must be the Sex Panther cologne.

I just watched that all the way through! I love these great audience reaction vids.

I think we'll see, at the VERY least, some of those characters back. There are clearly ways to do it. My guess is they'll give them a break, but gone? NIMO.

I didn't like how they treated thanos in this movie compared to IW. Seemed to dip a notch or two into the ultron category of threat but not and just wants to destroy earth and the avengers have to punch him.

This 209 easter eggs video is also interesting. WARNING MAJOR SPOILERS.

I'm more interested in speculating on what Marvel Studios' box office numbers are going to look like moving forward.

I'm sure the films will still be profitable. However, I don't believe they're going to reach the high levels that Phases 1 through 4 have brought them. As I understand it, MS isn't producing more phases and I haven't heard anything about another big arc planned. I mean, I guess we could hope for Galactus if the FF are successfully brought in (or I'd even settle for Age of Apocalypse quite honestly) but I'm not holding my breath. I hate to potentially kick a hornet's nest, but if CaptainMarvel/Brie Larson is seriously going to be leading the next line of movies, I don't expect the majority of audiences to respond to her long-term as well as they did to Iron Man.

I also believe that what people have called superhero fatigue is going to settle in really fast or at the very least, Marvel fatigue will. This is also a prime opportunity for Warner Bros to step it up with the DC films (and if WW, AM, and Shazam! are any indication, that's exactly what will happen). Marvel can't stay on top forever.

The main theme of Endgame that you here in the track portals ,arrival and a little bit of the end credits has become to me the theme of the MCU.

also I watched Cap TFA again yesterday and there are so many musical cues Silvestri has brought into his Avengers scores from that movie.
