Kevin Feige talks about Endgame's length:

Speaking to io9, Feige said he feels the runtime is the "least interesting thing" about Endgame or any movie, for that matter. He went on to explain that the MCU's films are, generally speaking, as long as they need to be, and what that even means:

“What I’ve always said is a movie is as long as it should be. And we are not fans of overindulging movies. We are not fans of laborious lengths for no reason. We are fans of movies that you wish didn’t end. Movies that you want to see again as soon as it’s over. And movies that you just don’t ever find a good time to run out to the bathroom. That’s when a movie’s working. And if a movie doesn’t feel like that to us we continue to trim, we continue to shape, we continue to bring that time down. That happened to a certain extent on this movie. But we got to a point where it feels very exciting and goes by very quickly and in the end is the perfect length. And everybody that saw the movie felt the same way.”

Kevin Feige talks about Endgame's length:

Well, except for Thor 2. That film needed about 30 minutes of character development and plot added to it. Avenger's Age of Ultron to a lesser degree has always felt to me like it's got pieces missing. Like a bunch of seconds here and there in scenes was trimmed out and it left the film and its pace feeling wrong. Ultron and his development and evolution throughout the film definitely feels undercooked and in need of added runtime.

I love seeing the outrage on suggesting CM bites it at the beginning lol I love CM and even I think that would be a ballsy move to gutpunch the audience so early.

Seriously why so much shade? I mean she just got here people let her do her thing daaamn lol

Hey so for those 2 new clips they just released... My 2 cents

The shot where we see Tony, Cap and Thor walking through the rubble and you see Thanos' sword off in the distance... Thanos on his knees with no helmut on? Beaten or the fight has just begun? lol

Carol says he just used the stones again and its that energy signal they use to locate him.... What do we think Thanos could have used the stones for again that would cause such a high energy sig or maybe any use of the stones emits a signature....

I will never understand why people dislike her so much. Its not even a dislike... I see comments that sound like people vehemently hate this woman. Not c

How? He couldn't take him on Wakanda.
Are you serious ? It’s a joke. She obviously seems to cocky and would be humbled by Thanos. If it was Strange or anyone else I would have said the same thing.

Just saw on the news that a guy is selling his tickets for $15k, he just put it up to see if he can get lucky. Incredible!!!:wow:

Nevermind just over $100k. Insanity beyond belief

Phase 4 Marvel Cinematic Universe: 5-Year Plan, Likely No X-Men

“It’ll be a while,” Feige told io9 when asked about bringing the X-Men into the MCU. “It’s all just beginning and the five-year plan that we’ve been working on, we were working on before any of that was set. So really it’s much more, for us, less about specifics of when and where [the X-Men will appear] right now and more just the comfort factor and how nice it is that they’re home. That they’re all back. But it will be a very long time.”

Phase 5 will probably have an Xmen and a Fantastic Four film.

I'm curious after how long will people get tired with the MCU ? It's been 11 incredible years, but everything has to come to an end. Either way, the audiences get boring or Marvel decided to stop. I'm just wondering how this Cinematic Universe will end.
Well not every movie will be big blockbusters and they don't need them to be now. They needed the hits in the 1st two phases, now they can settle and do smaller level movies. Shang, Eternals, Black Widow likely won't be huge scale movies. The 1st two Ant-Man movies were not grand scale movies, CM1 I didn't feel was big part of the universe. It was big because she was one of the newer age heroes in the 90s. Their big movies will be BP, Strange(after his praise in IWs), Spider-Man after Far From Home which seems small so far. GOTG 3 will be a big one. Marvel Studios was the 1st to do the universe thing and the only ones so far to really be successful. No one can take that away from them, until someone else makes a good shared universe I think they will remain very popular. People go knowing they will get some of the best continued story telling.

I was expecting Eternals to be quite big scale. The others no.

It’s smart actually. Right now people are taking X-men for granted because Fox puts out mediocre movies. By the time they tease that first X-men movie, people will go nuts.

Much like with Superman, better to give the audience a chance to miss the X-Men and clamor for their return if you wanna start fresh. 5 years is no time at all.

I mean it makes sense for them to take a break from X-Men considering the state of the franchise right now. I want them to take their time and actually build up those characters properly so that by the time they show up it will feel fresh and exciting. Besides they have their hands full with other franchises right now and story lines they are going to need to wrap up. I think 5 to 6 years isn't even that long honestly.

It might be because Jolie is in it and she is still a big name. I don't know if I consider the other GOTG movies big scale. The 1st was because the stone but I didn't feel like the 2nd one was a big scale. Might get that from Eternals something in the middle.
