No problem.

I think any exciting meaty exterior shots will be in NY. I forget that we haven't gotten any Batman rooftop/posing shots yet nor many night time scenes in the streets and I think it'll be shot there.

yes watch NY

The actor injured was Christopher Judge. His wife just tweeted that he suffered a 'black n' bloodied eye'. He's going to continue filming despite this apparently. So I guess they're just taking a break and are indeed filming through the night.

I think everyone is on break now, all the staff went into a building.

Dam waking around here at night feels like I'm walking down a Gotham street. Lol

HHarrison, it was nice meeting you, Frank. Hit me up if you're down for some more shoot watching

H
Yes it was nice to meet you as well, please PM me if you are coming down on Sunday our any other day.

Ive been on the set for 3 days and all the PAs are really friendly and have even let me watch some scenes. And that's because I'm respectful and friendly as well. Now, I know for a fact that an LA hypester has been a complete a** on set. He was trespassing on RR tracks and they had to chase him. He was also getting pushy with security. So, of course they're jerks to you. That's a no brainer.

I appreciate the effort fceeviper and company.
No prob.

Okay I have done none of that. I just wanted to start a conversion with a couple of the PA's but they weren't having it. All they wanted to do is tell me not to lean over the bridge/move along. There has been cool PA's, cops and security guards that has been cool with me since the filming over at the car pile-up shoot. But these two *****ebags weren't having it.

Again this conversation does not belong here. Please, let's move on...

Here are some pics I took tonight, nothing at all special, I also included some random pics of Gotham City :D

El FUEGO was not talking about you. There's been a real jerk LA hypester on set with no respect at all. You guys have been going back and forth with him these past few pages. PA's are not losers, especially not these, because they're working on THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, a movie you're all dying to see and I'm sure if you got offered the job, you'd love to be a PA on it and say you worked on a Batman movie. Some people need to get over themselves.
If you're a film student, you should know this already, more than most.

Were those there before filming? Very cool

They've probably been there since the Oscars. Bansky tagged a bunch of LA the week leading up to the Oscars since his film, Exit Through The Giftshop was in the running for Best Doc.

It's strange, many film student's DON'T know this until they get out here, especially those that attend one of the top 10 film schools. They think they've suddenly bought/earned their way in and voila, now all the doors will open.

No school is a better example of this than USC. Through the years, because of the success they had last decade, and with their affiliations, they've gotten lazier and more entitled. The worst people I have worked with -- the laziest and the most entitled and almost always the first to go -- are USC film student graduates. And when you talk to any exec across town, there's a certain groan you hear when they talk about "yet another USC" CV or resume being passed across their desk. So what's worse, you have people who think they're hot USC **** who come out to execs and an industry that view them as yet another in a long line of churned-out USC-style students. The two studios and one production house where I've worked actually gave hiring preference to students from well-known and accredited, yet non-LA schools (Colombia, Emerson, Texas, Chapman, and Florida State) because their students tend to bring a newer more unique voice and work harder b/c they don't bank on a USC alumni schtick that in reality no longer exists. I know one awesome USC graduate who's a CE in town and even he talks about the rep those students are getting.

Haha please Polaris. I was hanging out with 3-4 of them for several hours. They all hated being PAs and they all wanted to go home. To them, any movie set is any movie set. They are just doing this to meet people and find connections. I am not saying they are losers because they are PAs, just that these ones are losers. They had horrible attitudes about everything, even just being there, and were incredibly disrespectful to people who just wanted to observe the set.

You'll run into those. And you'll run into good people too. Let's not group everyone in the same league.

Not to mention... being a PA sucks. You're everyone's b****. It's not a creative position at all. And there are probably loads of filmmakers who wish they were in a position on set where they could actually network more.

Never did. We are in the LA Batman shoot thread. I am talking about the PAs on set at the Batman shoot. And trust me, I talked to them for several hours. They seemed to take a liking to me. I told them I was at USC and here for class project and they loved me. They actually radioed me in as a special effects coordinator when someone on set asked who I was.

But that doesn't mean they are cool people. They even admitted they like to be jerks to people just because they can. One time Polaris was walking up the bridge with all of his friends, and they said "Watch me turn this little fahgot around, take notes". "He's been here all day, probably doesn't have any real friends". Stuff life that. And ironically, Polaris is defending the same people I am just trying to say are losers.

They do sound like jerks. But my point was... they weren't the only PAs on that set. Especially on a multi-million dollar production.

and for those of us who dont give a **** about anything that's been said in the past 2 pages about respecting PAs and what not...whose down at the shoot today and is anything going on

Very cool video, fandomorama :woot:

damn that video was cool with that quick explosion right after they called action down in the tunnel. What time did you shoot that?
