damn that video was cool with that quick explosion right after they called action down in the tunnel. What time did you shoot that?

I didn't!! I'm not even in the US :(
I was hoping the guy that filmed it was lurking around this forum and could give us more info :woot:

I am a 20 year old double major in Business and Film at USC. I love being on the Batman sets and spying to get pictures because it is a blast. And ya, PAs are losers in my opinion. I know what their job is, and SOME of them are cool. But for the most part, they just lie and tell you they have the right to kick you out and prevent you from taking pictures. They also lie about their jobs. They are just freelancers trying to get into production. They have no involvment with the actual studio and shoot, they just know someone and was able to get hired for a shoot and get paid by the hour to "lock things" up. They basically do ***** work.

I also major in film there, and I am absolutely appalled by such callous statement. We attend a great film school, and I don't take it for granted nor let it be a vehicle to belittle anyone working on a set. Even I know that everyone has to start somewhere.

I was working as a PA for a film set this summer, and I have every bit of appreciation for the work that PAs do.

I think it would a great experience to be a PA. I would love the opportunity to be able to meet people and get connections. I am trying right now to get my foot in the door to be able to have the opportunity. Its a tough field to get in and to figure out how to start. To read that they are being @$$ holes just because they can is a joke. They are taking the opportunity they have been given to them for granted when someone like myself and others would LOVE the opportunity to do something like that. Its not fair in my opinion. I would love to know how some of you were able to be PA's. Anyone pointers?

Who is this man/women all in black from the photo thread? Any ninjas know?

Never did. We are in the LA Batman shoot thread. I am talking about the PAs on set at the Batman shoot. And trust me, I talked to them for several hours. They seemed to take a liking to me. I told them I was at USC and here for class project and they loved me. They actually radioed me in as a special effects coordinator when someone on set asked who I was.

But that doesn't mean they are cool people. They even admitted they like to be jerks to people just because they can. One time Polaris was walking up the bridge with all of his friends, and they said "Watch me turn this little fahgot around, take notes". "He's been here all day, probably doesn't have any real friends". Stuff life that. And ironically, Polaris is defending the same people I am just trying to say are losers.

So you admit you made friends and were hanging out with loser PAs, guess that makes you a loser as well. The most *****e move all day was you completely ignoring the very people you were hanging out with all day (fellow ninjas) and by the way, that PA didn't say anything to me but "move it along". And it's the same PA's up on 6th st bridge that let elFuego and I watch the Batman + Gordon scene that you missed out on :cwink: We were directly above them.

I met a great, talkative PA who let me watch pretty up close down at Santa Fe next to the tunnel when I was on my own, super cool. When you and others passed behind me he said something along the same lines, "Yeah don't be like those losers over there, they've been here all day and haven't seen ****. We got our eyes on them." I'm glad I wasn't associated like that.

and for those of us who dont give a **** about anything that's been said in the past 2 pages about respecting PAs and what not...whose down at the shoot today and is anything going on

Yeah seriously. I'm down to go to the shoot today as it's probably the last one we'll be able to attend. In any case though, I've had my share of exciting experiences anyway so if they ended LA exterior shots today, I already got my great moments ^____^

....Yes. We already pointed out that it's Bale's stand in (or stunt double) wearing nothing but regular clothes, jeans, shirt, with a cape and a bad Batman mask. Nothing to panic about lol. :woot: We've seen him since El Camino's shoots, he's the Nobody Cares Batman!!

Thanks guys. I didn't see if anyone mentioned it because of all of the weird PA talk. Take it to another thread/board haha.

Enough PA talk.
Let's focus on tonight! Or today's shoot - if any? I was really looking forward to seeing the batwing in action!

Today's shoot might be the last one we'll hear about in a while. :(

Ahhh - those are AMAZING, but so small!!

Yeah, the owner of the website was also looking for the bigger versions but he/she can't find it.

These tiny pictures are depressing.

Nice!

I thought this might be a bat-vehicle, but it could be anything..

that looks interesting.. the positioning and the way its covered.. doesn't look like the 'batwing' or tumbler at all.

i dont think its the tumbler. could be just normal cars.

whatever it is its parked on the "iceburg" they have set under the bridge.. This is the first of the entire shoot at 6th street for a vehicle to be parked or even on that thing.

I'm thinking of going over today, I have time, but I don't know if it'll be worth it..?
