Yeah I just got back (for real this time). I was there from 6 something to 1 AM when they wrapped and we got to see Nolan leaving. Polaris and I watched the takes with the mortar shots from the batwing about 6 times or so (which was loud from the bridge). We got to see Bale in the suit sitting in a chair getting makeup and then strutting majestically across the set. Much of the shoot was in the tunnel tonight and most of the pictures I got werent so great, not to mention security was tight as a drum. Still good to see some of the pyro shots, talked to the PAs a whole bunch and of course the batsuit is amazing.

I wouldn't go that far. I didn't find it offensive, but I didn't find it funny either. Meh.

Never completely loved the suit. But it doesn't bother me in anyway. And when it comes down to it, it isn't that important as long as it's not a REAL turd. Cause TDK is an awesome movie, despite a non-awesome suit.

And I for one actually think it's cool that this if the first time they don't change the Batsuit from the previous one.

everything seems to be more epic about this than the previous two nolan bat-flicks. i like that he is going for that approach. it's an overused word and might have been used for both BB and TDK, but neither of them were really epic in the word's true sense i would say

Batman definitely holding something in his hand. I saw a youtube video where he's giving Gordon this "device" just after (or before i dunno) he throws the flare ... you know what i'm talking about?

Suit actually looks really good here.

I like the way the suit looks against the white ice. The contrast is really strong and the details really stand out much more than typical shots in the dark of Gotham.

more cool than epic. imo.

but damn those are awesome shots. the visual shot-composition brilliance of nolan and wally can never be praised enough. they are one league above everyone else doing these kind of blockbusters right now in that area.
