The Dark Knight Rises OFFICIAL: Batman in the Burgh - - Part 11

As the female Robin of course!

See, Nolan using Selina Kyle in the movie is really just a smoke screen for the true female star. Marion Cotillard/Talia.

Truth is, none of our theories will pan out to be true and the movie will give us something completely different. :)

Gordon's demise? Now he's dying too?

Well I guess we don't know that for sure, although he did sound like he was dying in the trailer. Unfortunate accident, I should say.

I'm not sure where Selina Kyle is going to fit into this, although I suspect there might be some chance meeting between Bruce Wayne and Selina pre-Catwoman right at the beginning. And when he leaves Gotham, she might initially try a little thievery since there's probably going to be some measure of lawlessness with Batman out of town. But at a later point she'll come to realise that there's no point to stealing when your town is going to hell, once Bane and the mercs run amok with the earthquake machine. So she'll take it upon herself to fight for Gotham. And that's probably the time Batman will return. There might be a scene between them where he tells her to go home, but once she's decided that this is also her fight, we know how hardheaded Catwoman can be, at least in the comics. So he'll finally give in, and let her do her thing. Not sure if they're going to let Batman know who Catwoman really is at the end, although without the cowl it'll probably be a bit obvious. So maybe he'll find out at some point, and she won't care about her Selina identity anymore. So the goggles without cowl might come after Batman, and/or all of Gotham, finds out her true identity, and she decides to let loose :P

Or so I still hope for a cowl at some point.

Did they ever use the batmobile (black tumbler) during the Pittsburgh shoot?

I don't think so. It may have been repainted with the camo colors for the shoot.

Like a model house guest who departs on a lovely note, director Christopher Nolan left town on a wave of praise for Pittsburgh.

"My expectations for what we could achieve in Pittsburgh were high, but we've managed to capture far more of the spirit of Gotham City in Pittsburgh than we could have ever hoped for," he said in a statement released Monday.

"Aside from the experience we've had shooting here, we've really enjoyed spending time in the city, and we're really looking forward to coming back some other time."

So I recently emailed Under Armour, to find out if any Gotham Rogues gear would be available for purchase at any point. Here's what they had to say...

Hi -

Thanks for contacting Under Armour.

Currently, “The Dark Knight Rises” is still being filmed and at the moment we are unable to offer any official “Gotham Rogues” apparel as it has all become official props of the film. We share your excitement about the Gotham Rogues. If we are able to create an opportunity to offer merchandise in the future, we will be in touch.

We really appreciate the excitement about the Gotham Rogues, we are right there with you!

Thank you for choosing Under Armour.

Well, I guess that answers that. :funny:

An earthquake hit Virgina, but was felt in Pittsburgh... it must be Bane and his Earthquake Machine up to no good. :oldrazz:

Anyone know how Catwoman takes out a Tumbler?

I was trying to think of new stunts they could pull off on the Batpod and this crazy idea came in to my head. :awesome:
