The Dark Knight Rises OFFICIAL: Batman in the Burgh - - Part 11

And in regards to the aging issues, Clooney is like Mr. Connery :cwink:

I still wish we could've had a Kevin Conroy live action Batman while he was in his prime. He would've made the perfect Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Uh, really?

He looks nothing like a Bruce Wayne. I wish people would stop with the clammoring(sp?) of him of him to be Batman or Mark Hamil to be the Joker in a live action film. Just because they sound great vocally doesn't mean it translates at all to live action. Please, stop! Oy.

He looks A LOT like Bruce Wayne here:

^During the right time in his career and with a little alteration of his hair he could certainly play Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Awesome video Aliensarchive, like usual! And DoomsdayApex, thanks for making that group, was really kind of you. As I've said before, I'm just another fan like you guys, I'm sure you all would have done the same thing if Batman was shooting in your town :) I'm just grateful that Mr. Nolan picked the city that I call home.

Even so, thanks are in order to you and every Ninja that took time of their personal (and possibly) busy schedules to capture these awesome pictures and videos. All of us here appreciate the hard work you guys did for us. Shame it had to come to an end this quickly.

big thank you to all the Pittsburgh ninjas. You guys did an amazing job.

Very cool that Wally is actually doing the handheld work.

Does anyone know if this is an IMAX camera? I cant tell. I've been crossing my fingers that this whole film really will be entirely IMAX.
Nope, that's way too small. That's a 35mm camera. And Wally managing to hoist one up on his shoulder would be a BIG DEAL. Chris bribed him to do one shot with the IMAX camera on his shoulder in TDK, just to prove that he could do it. And he did. :funny: I suspect it's during the SWAT takedown of the Pruitt building.

Anne finally gets to ride the pod! ...kind of

That looks fun! :applaud:

Many thanks to all the Pittsburgh ninjas! You did us proud. :awesome:

faster than I thought they'd go, not the first part obviously.

He also put the imax cam on a steadi-cam rig for the bank robbery exterior scenes on the roof. It broke the mount and fell, but the camera lived! Those things are built like tanks! I hear that the imax cam that was run over by catwoman has survived as well!

So Pittsburgh filming is all over huh? Thanks to the ninjas, especially Subaru, that guy became a legend with the footage and constant updates. I felt like I was there most of the time!

At least it was close enough that I could be there at Heinz Field for filming...I won't forget that experience, and being able to actually have a part in a Nolan movie.

I'm happy and sad. Happy to move on with filming and closer to next summer for TDKR. Sad to think this is the end of the series. Oh well, all good things must come to an end!

Thanks again Pittsburgh Ninjas, you make us proud. I had a great experience as an extra at the Heinz Field shoot and the City was great!

Any updates on the information about "hold on to your asses" and "this movie is going to blow everyone away!"?

Just out of curiousity, now that the shooting is over are the ninjas going to reveal their info?
To keep Goku from going Crazy :awesome:

Just like to add my thanks to the 'burgh ninjas - ABOVE AND BEYOND.

Anne was filmed at 25 fps, to make it look like she's going fast.
isnt 24 fps normal?

look i am not saying that they should go faster. i am not saying that it will look slow. which it of course will because the batpod looked like it was driving slow in TDK. thats a fact. i didnt have a problem because i respect Nolan for going 100% practical.
