So I kinda find it funny that I got grilled and called a troll when I made a mention of Ra's and Catwoman possibly using some sort of Laser to over take Gotham. Now everyone is ok with a earthquake machine because that is so realistic lmfao, god I love the fanboys that frequent this forum.

Banes voice sounds horrible, the whole casting of this movie in my opinion is a joke. I will reserve some feelings until the film comes out as I may end up liking the casting. I just feel Nolan is loyal to a fault, what is this Inception Rises? He cast Bane totally wrong, too short and a ****** voice (yes they can cgi him or camera angle, and yes they may dub his voice in post production) but for now I am not a fan of his casting.

Oh well back to lurking and posting here and there I go

Bye.

Do you know who's probably not upset by the set pics being all over the web? WB... Why? It's free publicity... I bet they'd be far happier having a couple of things slip out via set pics rather than have nobody care enough about their movie to bother taking snaps

But it would piss me as an "artist off too.

I wouldn't want people to hear just an unfinished snippet of my song in bad quality.
Or a raw version of my painting. etc.

But then again, as I said, we're sucking those set pics and infos up like nothing else...

Smasher needs a hearing aid, kinda like Grandpa Bane. :p

Sorry. I had my volume low because I'm at work. My boss left and I turned it up- it's 'liberation.'

Really makes me wish I was at the damn filming. I signed up pretty early and they still put me on the waiting list. Oh well, I hope there's something for LA or New York. I have to be in this films somehow!!!:cmad:

Weird, I also heard 'demise' when I first watched the vid and now I can't even work out how! :wow:

I disagree 100%. I find the casting brilliant. And, i couldn't be more happier with the tone, look and feel Nolan is giving us. Bring on the 20th....it's gonna blow the roof off.

Didn't Rag's ninja tell him that they were using set pictures as viral marketing this time around? Seems way cheaper and more effective than the expensive viral games that they did for us last time around. That stuff was cool, but how effective was it in reaching a wide audience? Set pictures will get the job done easier. And the fact that they aren't having to shell out any money for this publicity makes it a win-win for them.

The thing about this earthquake machine is that there was a link to the Army website detailing such a device, so it has some real-world precedence. This makes it easier for me to accept.

Hey, Inception had a machine that let you enter another person's dreams...that seemed much more fantastical than this earthquake machine, and look at how well received that movie was.

I can certainly understand the view of it being damaging to the artistic side of things... But personally I'd much rather people be clamouring for info on my movie so much that it's unavoidable things would leak rather than keeping everything under wraps and therefore limiting the buzz and coverage of the movie on the internet

Wow.

I was at the heinz stadium shoot yesterday, and i will say i was shocked at the downright "Pissing and Moaning" and disrespect of people all day. If it wasn't someone whining and crying about the heat and the fact that they had to wear a coat...then they were pissing about something else. Literally man....for every 100 people i walked by 90% of them complained all day long.

I sat in that heat fully clothed all day long and i would do it again in a heartbeat. I was proud to be there and support film making and it's just a shame to see people involved....whatever the size of your involvement...not taking the job seriously and being ungrateful.

I also was saddened to see so many people goofing around with cell phones all day. Facebook texting and twitter are more important to people than focusing on what your doing for 1 day. I heard this guys behind me complaining all day because he had to walk so far to find a smoking section??? You're telling me you can't leave the smokes home for 1 day? Oh well...props to the few that were that that actually respected the job at hand. You know who you are.

Don't know where you were sitting, but that was not my experience.
Unpaid extras sat in 90 degree heat for 8+ hours. The pay? Hot dogs, water and a few iPod Touches. And did I mention that IT WAS HOT?
Despite this, there were very few complaints from where I sat. Courtesy pretty much the order of the day. Everyone seemed to be pleased by the experience.
Were you there?

Ok here is the run down. I got to the set at around 10 am, they had you fill out disclaimer forms before you could go in. Once in you were free to just find a seat but once there you had to stay there until directed to move. where I was at there was about 24 of us there. While waiting for things to start one of the producers came over and asked us to come with him. We were taken to a room with a green screen and filmed for the national anthem sceen and for the touchdown sceen. We did about 10 takes on that. and went down to a new section close to the field for more close up work for the rest of the day. I was In the biggest sceen in the movie when Bane blows up the field and kills both team all but Ward. Bane comes out kills Hines and makes his speach. Over all the best time I have ever had. I am so sore from having to throw myself to the ground to escape the explosions and from running from the merchs. But over all It was a blast. I can't wait to see what was kept of my groups sceens and what was cut out. We were always wehere the camera was though.
Wow, thanks for the info! :awesome:

I would have been happy with eating dog feces. Hot dogs?! Ipod touches?! I would have died to be there.

I completely agree with you. But if he didnt want it to be known, he could have closed the street, tighten security on the stadium, etc.
There are ways to prevent this. That's why i'm not completely buying it.

All over the place. They moved our group several times. To be honest i was surprised by how kind the staff there was. They were extremely talkative and courteous. As for the complainers...a lot of it was during the last few takes of the national anthem. I can't count the times people said..."What this scene AGAIN?" or the rehearsals leading up to the explosion.....after we did about 8-10 rehearsals i heard tons of people whining about stuff. You know..."Blow S*** up already man" and so and and so forth.

By the way...did anyone hear that annoying guy who kept repeating that stupid "GOTH-AM" joke? Like every other second it was..."Get me some GOTH-AM water over here." Man that idiot drove me crazy.

True, but I was more referring to such things in general.

I agree that security could have been much tighter, but then again, that's no excuse for taking the pictures or videos.

But again: I shouldn't be complaining, 'cause I'm always spoiling myself with leaked pictures etc.

It's just too exciting to see new stuff. ^^

If you could also reserve your feelings and opinion for another forum all together, that would.... that would just be wonderful.

.... boy, I tell ya... good lord..... that would just be aces.

Thanks much.

People in my sections were awesome for the most part, but there were several *****ebags in attendance. I heard some indignant screams for t-shirts and explosions. Ugh. My bro ended up with a Gotham rogues shirt to take home, without screaming or yelling or begging. Respect goes a long way.

I lucked out by sitting by mostly fanboys everywhere I was, who are not only totally into it but are always very sweet to a pretty lady. (Thanks guys!)

I have to say this: I don't understand the whole demise-liberation debate. He said liberation every time. He told us (Gotham) to take control of ourselves and then showed us the instrument of our liberation. Not one single time did he say demise. Why would it be the instrument of our demise? Makes no sense. And how do you account for the extra syllables. Demise = 2. Liberation = 4. It's not demise. Let's just put that to rest.

Well, if Nolan it's actually pissed,we now know a big spoiler, with the "Talia" pics.
I love spoilers, but i dont want every surprise ruined for me :csad:

There is no debate. Read past posts before posting, thank you.

I did. Are you ok? I'm generally speaking, not only about this board. Calm down. Get up from your computer chair and walk around the house for a sec, deep breaths.
