Well, this my turn into an all-nighter...just got this from the local traffic report:

BULLETIN - 21-30 m delay - (PITTSBURGH) SMITHFIELD ST BETWEEN 5TH AVE AND 6TH AVE CLOSED BETWEEN 8 PM TONIGHT & 5 AM THURSDAY FOR BATMAN FILMING. INTERMITTENT TRAFFIC CONTROL ON GRANT ST. - WILLIAM PENN PLACE & WOOD ST. .

Looks like they're doing a sneaky night shoot. Getting ready to head out! Gonna see if I can see anything, doubt I'll be out there all night though, unless I see the golden unicorn...(batwing).

I just drove by Smithfield, theres nothing going on, but the road is closed now. Lots of "To Set" signs but no filming going on now.


And subaru their basecamp is basically the entire block between 7th and 8th, and Fort Duquesne and Penn Ave.

I think I read that for the previous shoot at Heinz Field it would be rain or shine, so I would suspect it isn't a big deal. They are trying to get things done as on schedule as possible I presume, and if it's really bad they could figure things out.

I'd imagine it depends on the scene. Some scenes it doesn't matter, some it probably does.

Yep, so there are tons of power cables already lined up to the church, lights on inside, but couldn't hear anything and no security outside, so who knows. BUT, the scoop for tomorrow! Here it is!

So, they are gonna be laying TONS of snow tonight, there is supposed to be a blizzard tomorrow, and the batmobile will just be driving down the street and pulling up somewhere in the blizzard. That's all they're doing tomorrow, but hopefully we get a look at that black tumbler and the blizzard should look sweet. I dunno what that has to do with the Wabash tunnel or the church, but it sounds like they're gonna have a busy day. Anyway, i'm back home now, gonna get some sleep so I can be up early tomorrow so I don't miss anything!

Lol well thank you, but please no bowing down. I'm just a batman fan like everyone else here. I've just been blessed with having the movie filming in my city and a job that lets me follow them around wherever they film. Glad I can kinda help bring the action to you guys (and gals).
