Filming interior scenes now. Just hanging out staring at this huge truck. Anybody have any questions about it while I'm here?

Only JGL was spotted from the cast right?

Which Tumblers are on set ? Supposedly there's a Tumbler that's smaller than the rest, have you seen it?

As much I have little niggles about certain things I've seen so far, and as excited I am to see Bane and Batman fighting, nothing really compares to how awesome it is to see a snowy Gotham :D

The tumbler looks like the one with the missle launcher on the top, it's still under a tarp though.

I dunno about a small tumbler. There is only the turret one here. It's a different shape, so some may think it's looks smaller. I dunno.

Thanks, I figured it was just the angle the photo was taken at.

yea- thats the one. there was a picture take and from the angle it seems smaller... but i believe its the same one with the missile launcher.

Looks pretty small to me. Looks like it might be for a miniature shot.

If Bane destroys that School bus filled with Kids I will die in the theater...

It's the one with the swivel mount, not the one that has the pop-out rocket launcher. It's the same one that shot the field in the video I posted last night.

That's not an obscure angle. It is in fact a mini-Tumbler.

Not sure if they would have it out if it was for a "miniture shot" unless someone see's some other stuff possibly built that looks like it may be used in such a way as well. I only say that because like they did with the tumbler in TDK, they would seemingly shoot something like that within the soundstage like they did when they built both the mini tumbler and used it in a mini set that was built to scale along with the mini tumbler, but created to look just like the tunnel of Lower Wacker where they shot the rest of the tumbler/semi truck chase scene.

I know what you mean there. Possible it's a remote control one used by Bane? I dunno.

Like I said in the other thread, rumor has it that there will be a chase involving two or more Tumbler's on one street. Maybe they just can't fit two full sized ones on the same street, so they need to use smaller ones. That's my guess.

Now THAT is something that I could buy.... possibly with a feature that helps it to cause distruction in its own right while allowing it to be more covert than the much bigger ones? Just a theory...... a bad theory, but a theory.

Now that is a good theory as well, maybe using it in far shots down the street to try and give the effect of it being a good distance away from the other one? Such camera angel tricks have been used many times before. Nice thinkin'

Not sure if this set report has been posted, hell it may even be from someone on here but I hadn't seen it till now and it's a little different from other accounts.

- I was at Heinz Field on Sat and I wanted to clarify a few points from your earlier posts. The Tumblers that were there were not filmed at all. They brought them out as a fun distraction for everyone in the stands (official word from the extras organizers in a thank-you e-mail is over 18,000 were there). Once to fire off a "shot" from the giant turret (a charge in the field exploded) and once carrying Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward who is playing Gotham Rouge Heinz Ward in the film (Ben Roethlisberger and former Coach Bill Cowher are also on the Rouges). We were also told that Bane has stolen the Tumblers, though no further details were given on that.

As it was explained to us, on the opening kickoff return Bane blows up a significant portion of the field killing the players (that was explicitly stated in the direction we got for our reaction shots) and creating a giant smoking crater. The raised platform in those photos is all that will remain in the final shot. Then Bane comes out with a bunch of mercenaries, a guy who was not identified and the big round thing already described. He gives a speech, and it was clear that what we heard, and what was in the video posted yesterday, was not even close to the full speech he'll give in the movie (since he's wearing that mask that obscures his mouth I'm assuming he'll be looping all of his dialogue anyway) and I imagine that's not really how he'll sound in the final product. The sequence ends with Bane breaking the guy's neck.

Now, though we got no clear idea of his motivations or goals on Saturday, some friends of mine were hired extras on Sunday and relayed that the object he brought out was a nuclear bomb, the guy whose neck he breaks is the inventor/constructor of said bomb, and that as soon as Bane gives his speech he takes the bomb and his mercenaries and leaves. The direction that they were given was that the things that Bane was saying were kinda making sense in a twisted way. So what I thought would be a pretty standard hostage situation after the events on Saturday turns out to be more like he's trying to win people over to whatever cause he has which, to me at least, is a WAAAAAY more interesting plot development!

They also filmed the explosion of a luxury box which reportedly contained Mayor Richard Alpert.

Anyway, I can't confirm this 100% since I wasn't there on Sunday, and who knows, the details given by the production team could have been misdirection, but I heard the stuff on Saturday and I trust my friends' descriptions.

Weeeeeee my first spy report!

Mayor Richard Alpert

This made me LOL. :hehe: I hope the Mayor and his guyliner are ok. :(

It does seem like Bane is preaching and trying to convert/liberate the people based on his speech.

Are there solid reports of mini tumblers? I don't see any. And the street is plenty big enough for the tumblers, you could fit all 3 going side by side down the street.

My thoughts exactly :csad:. I realize i'm a huge LOST fan when i read this and instantly though "You cant kill Richard!" :hehe:
