Tandom: Though I didn't mind Chicago in TDK, I do prefer the architecture of Pitts more. It looks more older; more old world limestone than glass/modern steel.

I loved Chicago as Gotham. The city was a perfect choice so naturally for me I was a little sad and confused as to why TDKR won't be filmed there. But like Nolan, i believe said, he wanted the look of Gotham to be different and the other big parts of it shown, and after seeing the downtown shots full of snow, I'm confident Nolan and the team made the right choice for that 'other parts of Gotham.'

These orphans get everywhere don't they! Church, Football stadium, Wayne Manor... and each of those places is supposedly attacked in some way. Weird.
Well, Bane does have daddy issues.....

I said this in the Hype! FB group but if Bane plans an attack on an orphanage he is officially more evil than the Penguin in Batman Returns.

What if he recruited the impressionable young boys and gave then hidden grenades to take out anyone on the streets who's against him? Those who refused would be killed to scare the rest into complicity.

Damn that is dark. I like it though. :cwink:

I'm not sure what would be more horrifying, Bane trying to recruit young boys for his army, or him trying to kill them all.

The army--being forced to kill people they might see everyday in their neighborhood. If they were killed, it'd be short and over. Notso being in the army.

Here's the first video! Joseph Gordon-Levitt with the gas can at the orphanage! [YT]Ra_HSl_2c0A[/YT]

Isn't Selina Kyle suppose to be an orphan in this film? Perhaps the church/orphanage has something to do with her character.

The Turrett Tumbler rolls on by and Blake starts to walking towards the church with a can of gasoline... Yeah I def. say Blake is up to no good.

It's a "home for boys", so maybe if Selina has a little secret she's there...

Haha. I totally missed that.

Anyway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the camouflage Tumbler looks pretty damn awesome in the snow.

Here's close up footage of the Tumbler that a few people thought was a mini-version. As you can see, it's full size! [YT]68jlvTc1OuI[/YT]

The Tumbler looks so good in the snow.

I wonder how may things will be set on fire. I still haven't made sense of "the fire rises" so maybe that's a link.

Hmm, snow, children threatened, cruising Batmobile in the snow, Catwoman, snow. I'm seeing alot of similarities with Returns and TDKR. Me likey.

Bane seems to hate kids just like the Penguin. I don't know which is worse, though. Lighting innocent orphans on fire or taking 1st born infants and drowning them in toxic waste.

Sick ****s.

Thanks as always!

I love how casual the Camo Tumbler was strolling by. I can always hear "la la la la la" in the background.

Joe does looks suspicious specially in the first take where he was doing the classic "looking over his shoulder" villain move.

So the popular theory is that he set the orphanage on fire and then saved the kids? I can see him saving the kids either because he's a double agent and he still wants to help out but the LoS has something on him OR he saved the kids to gain Gordon's trust and avoid suspicion.

Still don't know what the burning of an orphanage has to do with Bane/LoS. And where on earth are the GCPD in all of these? Man, they're slooooow this time. :hehe:
