Judging from the pics it looks like Gordon gets to do the Indy jump onto the truck and take it back.

I'm still a bit baffled by the fact that we haven't gotten an official photo of Batman yet.

It may be the same suit we've already seen, but seriously. We're about four months into filming, and we don't have a photo of the film's main character. Am I the only one who finds that odd?

I don't find it odd at all, I mean only reason to release a photo is to get people talking for a bit and remind them the movie is coming but that's already being done with the Catwoman promo and all these spy shots. It's too early to start marketing for this movie.

Why do they need to give us an official still if there's nothing different about the suit?

Marketing has to determine whether or not giving us a still of Batman is beneficial to getting more butts in the seat. At the point, they really don't need it.

Ya Gill said there was one of Batman and Catwoman back in June. So I wonder if those two will be released sooner or later? I too would like a cool shot of him. But I guess we did get footage of him backing away from Bane, but it would be cool to have a awesome shot of him.

Eh, you could barely make him out in the teaser, and the shot was too damn quick to fully process it.

I guess I'm alone, but I'd still like to get a promotional shot of Batman from this movie - my feelings toward the suit aside.

But if there is nothing different about the suit, there is still no reason, just like we wouldnt even have gotten the little that we did during TDK if it had not been for the fact that the suit was a little different than it was in BB. No difference? Same old suit we got used to in the last movie? No reason to put out a pic this early, or at all. I would stick with focusing on Bane and Catwoman and maybe even Talia later on when it comes to marketing and leave the Batman to a minimum. Your not going to go to this film completely oblivious that your about to watch a Batman movie after all.

I still think we'll have an EW cover with Batman (maybe with Catwoman) around September/October when the hype from all these set pics dies down. We probably would've gotten the Batman promo pic sooner if these set pics didn't leak but since they did then they probably pushed it back.

IMO they still need to release a Batman promo pic. He's still the most recognizable character in this movie outside of the Batman fans.

It would seem so from this recent thing. It got me super excited if the Earthquake machine is in it. Because it seems if so, they are just exchanging Bane from creating the quake rather than nature. And it seems if this is all true which this official marketing from the UK at the expo would make it seem, this is going to be a lot like Cataclysm and No Man's Land, which really excites me. It seems Gotham will be plunged into hell.

I actually like the earthquake machine angle. It's so other-world like, it's things like this in the series that pushes it into the superhero/comic book spectacle.

An earthquake machine might actually be sillier than both the microwave emitter and sonar device combined.

Not any more cartoony than the machine the LoS stole from Wayne Enterprises in BB... and I am sure that Nolan will portray it in such a way that is no where near as cheesy as something you may see Shredder use against the Turtles on a 1980's Saturday Morning.
