Not West Coast, Great Lakes. Not actually affiliated with the Avengers, they just used the name for publicity.

Thats what I meant to say!

CABLE & DEADPOOL #33
Written by FABIAN NICIEZA
Penciled by REILLY BROWN
Cover by ROB LIEFELD
“The Domino Principle”
The CIVIL WAR has torn them apart and now, the President of Rumekistan has to make an executive order -- execute DEADPOOL! Is CABLE a proponent of capitol punishment? If so, what will Deadpool’s last meal be?
32 PGS./Rated A ...$2.99

Ugh. I really struggle with Lefield's art now. I'm glad he's only doing the cover. I like the regular guy they have pencilling this book. :)

Anyone else really confused at the end of #29? What was up with
the guy who supposed to be DD and the guy who was supposed to be Cap?
Maybe I missed something. This book tends to be complicated and I tend to read it late at night.

Y'know, I was kinda confused about it too... maybe because I missed something while reading the issue, or because I haven't read the newest issue of Civil War, or any tie-ins - or, well, Cap's or DD's solo titles.

Of course, now I'm barely remembering the issue, so I'm not sure what I was confused on. ~_~ Isn't Cap's name Steve Rogers? It wasn't in the issue. And I didn't recognize the DD name either. Eh, oh well.

Spoons? Help a Colossus fan out? :D

Yes, Cap's name is Steve Rogers, but he's in hiding from the authority, so his team has to use fake name. Using their real names would, of course, alert Tony Stark and his team to come after them.

I read the latest issue last night and it's been a long time since I laughed this hard. I cracked myself non-stop, reading it. Priceless jokes.

Deadpool really needs to fix up his "First Person Narration", LOL.

"You killed Mr. Immortal!"

Squirrel Girl: "You evil, evil man!"
Deadpool: "Yah?"
[First Person Narration: "Didn't know about this one. What's her name? Nutcase Girl? Tail Girl?"]
Squirrel Girl: "It's Squirrel Girl, you evil, evil man!"

Deadpool: "I'd like to flip Shadowcat, she's as ripe as--"
Squirrel Girl: "Shut your evil, evil pie hole!"

I frickin' love this title. Didn't I ask for more Deadpool? They must've been reading my mind.

Can't wait for the next issue.

???I've neever seen you in this section Lex. Must be me.

Mr. Immortal: I tried to tell you.
Deadpool: But you didn't!
Mr. I: Because you cut my head off!
DP: Oh.
Mr. I: And you're not an X-Man.
DP: I am too!
Mr. I: You're not even a mutant!
DP: Oh, and you have the card set or something?
Mr. I: Ummm... No... I, uh...
DP: You DO have the card set!

And I still find it hilarious that DP had his ass handed to him by Squirrel Girl of all people.

And I wondered what he did to Bertha to make her let him go...

I agree. His art was never that pretty. His Cable is alright there but his Deadpool is horrible. I much prefer most of the art that's been inside the book from the start till current.

As for DD's and Cap's ID. They're both using fake ID's to get around the registration act. Also, in DD's case Matt Murdoch is in jail and someone else is playing DD right now. There's a clue in the 'Deja Vu' scene as to who it is.

Hey this thread is great. I love Cable & Deadpool. I hope it has a long run as long as it continues to be good.:xmen:

I think he touched her in a very private area of the female body

Gasp! Deadpool would NEVER do that.

And on the ID's... I'm totally missing the boat here. Wouldn't Tony and the government (or at least the government) know Cap's real name? o_O The guy who's DD had a house, so, fine, fake ID - I'll buy it. But for Cap, and even... well, I dunno, some of the others, do they really go "home" to somewhere other than their Super Secret Underground Command Base (TM)?

Meh. It depresses me that the boat's left and I'm not on it. Maybe I'm putting too much absurd thought into this.

Yes, they would. That is why they made him a NEW "real" name. So the govt wouldn't know it or know where to find him.

The next monthly issue should have an answer to that.

Ie, if they think they can make money, they're going to reprint it.

Or knowing Marvel, they'll do something where you can preorder and if they get enough pre orders, they'll make sure it stays in print.

One of the main jokes about Squirrel Girl is that she has defeated people that she really shouldn't have any chance against. She's beaten Thanos, Dr. Doom, the Mandarin, and MODOK.

CABLE & DEADPOOL #35
Written by FABIAN NICIEZA
Penciled by REILLY BROWN
Cover by TOM RANEY
The divorce is final, and now come the bitter recriminations. But where DEADPOOL is concerned, that means dredging up the ghosts of every person he’s ever KILLED -- and trying to understand WHY he did it and how he FELT about it -- that’s right, Wade must confront his MANLY FEELINGS of MAYHEM! The agony might very well prove too much... but what does Deadpool do if the only person capable of getting these ghosts out of his head is the person responsible for putting them there...?
32 PGS./Rated T+ ...$2.99

Sometimes the best way to use a very comedic character is through a very dramatic spin once in awhile, so it's no surprise they get serious with DP at least once.

The occasional serious Deadpool is always great.

Btw, the DD Deadpool fought is Iron Fist, posing as DD while Murdock's in jail.

Cable/Deadpool #32 will arrive in stores on Sept. 27 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Fabian Nicieza, with art by Staz Johnson and a cover by Amanda Conner.

Here's how Marvel describes the book:

"The Civil War really hits home! What happens when Cable and Deadpool find themselves on opposite sides of the fence and both refuse to budge? What else... they fight! But it's not just your usual fun super hero teeth-chipping spittle-snarling battle... it will change the lives of these two characters forever! "

Cable/Deadpool #32 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

Is Staz Johnson going to continuously be the artist? Because I am not digging that artwork.
