The aftermath of the X-Men's battle against the HECATOMB has cost CABLE a huge chunk of his island paradise of Providence and an even bigger slice of his soul. With all his hopes for the future of the planet Earth in jeopardy, now would be a pretty bad time for a reunion with DEADPOOL, wouldn't it? And an even worse time for... an assassination! 32 PGS. Cable and Deadpool 38

This issue, as I was expecting, was a hoot! Funny and charismatic as ever, Deadpool kicked butt. We didn't hear much from hayden, but it was kind of neat to see him think about how Deadpool is so good. "I know it. Cause he's me. Sorta."

Oh, and T-Ray!!!! Omg, Nicieza shows he knows the character he created SO well, and I for one am happy we're gonna resolve the whole identity theft issue. I have a feeling it's gonna be some sort of retcon. I hope not.

Eh, it was a better issue than the last few. Probably just due to T-Ray, and Agent X.

Yeah, Agent X made the issue for me. I'm really looking 4ward to Deadpool running the agency :D

It's a tad stupid, but I still can't manage the art/inking properly though. I just can't seem to appreciate stories, with mediocre artwork.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:'

But... what will DP do if, in the course of his making a big mess of Agent X's assignment, he finds out that Agent X is working on the side of the good guys? Meanwhile, some very big subplot stuff with Cable! Part 3 of 4."

Cable & Deadpool #39 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

That issie looks so cartoony...I think I like it. But only temporarily though.

Big Bertha is able to change back and forth from fat to skinny right.

it is good fun, just finished reading it
tehre was a heroes refference, yay!
Bob is staying in the comic for now, YAY!
deadpool kicks magic ass, yay!
a evil alien forge atacks Providence, so next time we can see some good alien kicking fun, yay!
mistique looks hot on the last page, yay!

Good clean fun but a little too much fun if you ask me. Nicieza went over board with the 4th wall jokes. Seiously. T-ray came off as a complete and utter tool, and not half the menace he could've been, since with his magic he could've killed Deadpool if he wanted too.

Slightly disappointed with this issue. Looking forward to the next one however. Oh, and Bob is a great addition. I like it how he's completely devoid of a personality. :D He doesn't even have a face. The perfect blank slate to balance ot Deadpool's excessive personality.

Oh, and since Wade basically doesn't ever lose any brain cells wouldn't that make him actually the smartest person on the planet? Or potentially the smartest person on the planet? :)

it's not the number of braincells, it's how they comunicate, and with deadpool they really can't communicate much less than what they're doing at this point

Gotta say, it was weird seeing T-Ray beaten so easily. He almost killed off DP back in the day.

Nonetheless, it was a funny issue.

^^^^They are really playing up how good Deadpool REALLY is at killing and fighting lately

Well, I knew that. I'd consider that on anyone else he fought, but it was T-Ray. Could've had more of a fight :o

"'Fractured,' part 1 of 3. Picking up from the furious action in X-Men, an alien soul vampire called the Hecatomb is rampaging across Cable's South Pacific haven of Providence. The only way to stop this creature is for Cable to restore his telepathy and telekinesis -- but the only way to do that might be to make a deal with the Devil itself -- an alien parasite called the Mummadrai. To save his dream, will Cable sacrifice his soul?"

so Niceiza is gonna acknowledge Cable and his X-men team in this book? I may have to check it out
