So, who read Wisdom? I liked it alot. :D
I got it but haven't read it yet. That is on tomorrow's agenda. I'm glad somebody thinks it's good. :)

Well, I read the Wisdom #1 and I liked it, but it was bit confusing. Did Wisdom stop a war by taking Tink for a spin? Is she supposed to have his kid now? Seems a bit odd. :) I was a bit taken aback by some of the language. I've read MAX titles before, but I wasn't ready for some of things Tink said. Tink has a potty mouth. ;)

There’s a dragon running the Welsh mob. And that’s not a metaphor. A fire-breathing, giant lizard is running the mob and the Welsh police can’t handle it. This falls under the purview of Pete Wisdom and MI 13. And they’re calling in some extra help to handle this problem as SHANG-CHI, MASTER OF KUNG FU shows up in this issue!
32 PGS./Explicit Content …$3.99

I wonder if "fallen" friend means death or just critical injury. Way to be vague Marvel :p

I guess you couldn't "care for" a dead person.

New Excalibur #14 will arrive in stores on Dec. 6 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Frank Tieri, with art and cover by Jim Calafiore.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"'Unredeemed,' part 2 of 3. The Juggernaut isn¹t as unstoppable as he used to be, and he plans on changing that! The Juggernaut travels to Asia to recover the Cytorrak Gem! But does that mean that the Juggernaut of old will return?! New Excalibur is hot on his trail and may end up caught in Juggernaut¹s path of destruction!"

New Excalibur #14 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

I reckon theyl die.

At first i assumed that it was Nocturne, as no one really does much with her. An easy alternative to creating good character development is to just kill off the character to add dramatic impact to the story (which if it is Nocturne would be ironic, as shes shown the most real emotions in grieving and trying to cope with loss that ive ever experienced from comics.)

I dont know where i heard it though, and could very well be making it all up, but im sure i remember it being said somewhere or at some point that Dazzler may have some kind of terminal illness. Im thinking theres a chance it could b her.

As for Wisdom...

Interesting idea behind the book, but i wasnt too sure of the first issue.

I found the Storline to have really bad flow. It became rushed and kinda disjointed, almost like an extended recap page than an actual issue, and it gave me little impression of any characters in the arc to form an opinion of one way or another.

Also.. we know its in England already, a lot of the referencesw to English culture seem kinda forced and crammed in. Im suprised they wernt discussing wich Beatles songs were their facourites. They just didnt feel right.

I think the biggest problem with this book is that the Writer clearly thinks Wisdom is cool, but seems to be relying on us thinking hes cool aswell without giving us any real reason to think so. I havent had much past exposure to the character but he doesnt seem that smart, doesnt seem that funny and really doesnt seem that suave. He just comes across as being a bit of a nob 'ed..... and not in a good/entertaining way.

...its a bit of a shame, cos England is really in desperate need of a good English superhero Team.

Q: “Mundungus” - I recently noticed on the recent solicits that Trevor Hairsine will not be drawing #3 of Wisdom. As a big fan of Hairsine since Ultimate Six, I was disappointed when he didn't get to complete all of Ultimate Nightmare and Deadly Genesis. Will Hairsine be completing the rest of Wisdom or will I have to wait and hope that his next project will sit nicely on my shelf with just the name Hairsine on it?
If that came out rude, I apologize, but his art style is quite amazing.

JQ: Trevor’s art is indeed amazing, Mundungus. He just wrapped up Wisdom #2 with Paul Neary, Lee Duhig and Joe Caramagna doing their part. After #2, you’ll have to settle for just covers by Trevor as the rest of the issues are going to be drawn by Manuel Garcia (Check out this page from #3). The schedule and a few extreme personal issues got in the way for Trev on this project and we want to get this book in your hands as quickly as possible. But don’t worry, we’ve already got Trevor working on something else over at the House of Ideas.

Didn't nocturne have a tail in exiles what hapened to it.

It means that she can pull it back down into her body at will.

I really, really liked this last issue. Tieri's doing some really cool stuff with everyone, not just Juggernaut.

I dunno what's goin on with the team. I know there was some tension but there's gott be a reason for all this fighting.

I bet it was just Cytorrak toying with them.
