Comics Official CAPTAIN BRITAIN AND MI:13 Discussion Thread

Buaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :'( March Is Too Bloody Away!!!!! I Hate To Wait!!!!! :'(

Probably one who took the sword when offered amulet or sword, so was denied being in the Corps and was instead given another role. Brian's the famous one for being the ruler of Otherworld (god I hope this arc is where they at least talk a bit about why Brian can't return there, they seem to be leaving the character alone completely at the moment as he is very lighthearted for a guy who's sister came back from the dead, lost his wife with no memory how, and can;t return to the omniversal dimension he is supposed to be in charge of), so he probably has his own ideas of how things should be run and needs to take the favourite son out of the equation.

Didnt know Cap's mask was a helmet again though... methinks Salvador made a little screw up there.

DAMMIT!!! I just read 14, and you know, this COULD be a reason for cain to turn evil again. He won't, I believe, but It could still happen. Even as crappy as it would be.

When is the next issue coming out?

You should check out the SHH comics forum here, under Marvel. Every week, someone posts the list of next's weeks books. It would help you get an idea of what's coming next. :)

And if he does, will his teammates ever be able to look at him the same again? The surprising conclusion to Frank Tieri's run on New Excalibur!"

so what actually happened to Juggernaut, he took the Cyttork gem but does it mean he is stronger again? The ending didnt solve this question for me...

Essentially, yes. Juggernaut must have killed the man who Cytorrak wanted as his replacement, since that's the only reason he would have allowed Cain to leave with the jewel. And since he has the gem back, he has his strength back. But since the rest of the team knows what getting that gem back would entail, he's hiding it from them. Which means someone down the road will find out and there will be drama surrounding the fact that he's basically back in league with that evil god.

Most likely, yes, which is something Cain's gonna have to try and keep quiet as well. Maybe Cytorrak has something planned that he wants to keep Cain close to Excalibur for now.

O, when Dane said that the blade he had wasn't the ebony blade, was that because Black Panther had it?

It was probably only said as a last ditch effort from editorial for letting Hudlin f up continuity.

OK don't read the book and I am unsure of Cytorrak but could have Juggernaut have killed him instead and took the gem???

Cyttorak is essentially a god, and I don't believe that his form fully exists on this plane either, at least not in a physical form, so there really isn't a way for Juggernaut to kill him.
