In regards to the editing of profiles... I understand the way it was done this week, but we were very adamant in previous conversations in regards to how wrong it is. The point has been made, (and made well as I didn't know about that website myself) but there is no longer any reason to change any website information. If this is done again (as we all are now aware of the rule), it will result in an immediate removal from the game. No harm no fowl thus far, but let's not make a problem of it. And if there has been any changing of websites, let's make sure it gets changed back to how it was before any of us catch it. Don't want you to get in trouble for something done previous to this post.
Now in regards to some of Phaed's earliest statements, I agree with most all he says. The best resource for you to use is real comicbook appearances (in context, as Prime said). After that there's the most reliable websites (and we should set up a list of those by the way), though even the most reliable websites can have flaws, so if any comic appearance contradicts the bio, the comic will probably trump the bio. Editable websites, like Wiki, are good resources as well, I use them often, but remember that places like that are more likely to be misrepresented, and we must remember that their bios may not be scripture here. Also, the Marvel Handbooks are almost top notch resources, again, provided they don't contradict the comic book appearances.
And when it's all said and done, it's down to the debating and voting. That's the fun of the game, have fun with it.
Okay, last thing... Belasco. While I agree that he's one of the Tubers who got through, it's already round 2 and if we should have removed him it should have been last round. If we remove him now then we'll have to replace him with someone who didn't deserve to be here to begin with, let alone in the second round. Not only that, but I'm still on the fence about many of the uber magic users, and I'd rather not open the can of worms about getting rid of characters. We put them through, let them play. We'll sort it out next season.
And that's my take on all that. I'm great.
