Oh, and I found a box of comics yesterday with a bunch of decent stuff. I mean, for a big collector, it will look like garbage. But, I think they are kind of neat books in there for some of you guys that haven't been collecting as long as I have. Stuff I found is Battlestar Galactica #1 (The Marvel Comic one), Silver Surfer #100, Generation X #1, Runaways #2 (Vol. 1), X-Men #3 stuff like that. Like I said, this isn't high priced items, but for people who don't have a bunch of comics in their collection, they might like it. (This is the kind of comics I usually put in the "worst record" prizes.) I also have lots of back issues of particular comics, if someone likes that. So, if you would like Generation X, Thor, Spider-Man, or maybe from DC or Image, I can design special prizes to suit everyone's needs. (Just know that the big dollar items are saved for the grand prize.)

it's weird, it's not the winning that I'm enjoying (although I am remarkably good at it! t: ) it's the debating. To me not having an opponent to debate is worse than losing cause even when you're clearly outclassed it's awesome trying to find some glimmer of hope that could grant you the win.

What a weird week for me. Gladiator II wins after I'd written him off. I didn't actually choose this character even though he appears about halfway down my list of characters. I already had Gladiator (Shiar) and from doing a quick internet search, I thought II was this guy: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/gladtr.htm So any points with the turkey I've ended up with are a bonus now.

The Marrow Vs Deathlok match was great fun even though I didn't give her much chance. The Maxam Vs Microbe one wasn't fun at all as I don't want to lose Maxam, and pathologically hate Microbe. May he catch his own disease and die horribly over 200 years. At least there's no pathetic virus carrying Transian villagers in the next location.


...& I thought Harlekin was extremely unlucky this week. His stats above aren't reflective of how well he's debated (although it gave me great pleasure to finally put Prodigy on his ass)

I'm extatic because I thought I was going to die hard this week. Beast Vs Armageddon and Skin Vs Vidar are both matches where I was an EXTREME underdog... and I managed to pull one of them off, so that was cool. I knew that Halloween Jack and Thunderbird could have gone either way, so that had me nervous, and I never trust in winning a rematch (Abyss Vs Slapstick) so that victory made me happy. Winning 2 when I was thinking I'd be lucky to even win 1 is great. I think I'm still just beaming from my Beast victory. I didn't think for a second I'd pull that one off. And as I said in the other thread, the fact that I got three votes for Skin over an asguardian God makes me feel good!

Has anyone else got any of their big hitters facing each other in early rounds. How annoying.

2 guaranteed victories almost thrown away. If I'd had Mystique Vs Marrow I could have written off both losses and had a bonus character in round 2. t: Instead I lose one of Gladiator and Airwalker for free in the first round and then Morg goes up against Firelord in Round III (assuming they make it ).
