Wow, great matches Phaed. I kinda expected Darkhawk to lose (although I was pleasantly surprised by some of the votes). The Nightcrawler/Gideon match was a toss-up, and I've got to say, I'm very happy and surprised at the upset there at the end. I come through this week pretty much unscatched.

Also, I need to know who Wiegeabo, Hellstormer, and Midnight Ice wants to move on from their matches this week.

Also, also, after work today, Wiegeabo will keep everything running, and he'll post the brackets next Friday. (If you want me to PM you next week's brackets, I can do that, Wieg, before I leave.) I'll be back from vacation on Easter Sunday. I'll try to get in to vote, if I can find a computer down in Vegas.

Also, Also, Also, Yes, great matches, Harlekin. It was a great comeback, after being down 4-0. But, I knew whoever won would probably have to face Lord Templar, which would be one heck of a difficult battle. (Plus, Gideon is kind of hard to debate for; now, if I had a list of his possible templates, it would have been a bit easier.) Now, we have another great battle this week, Belasco vs. Baron Mordo. I'll get an opening debate in today; but, not sure if I'll be able to rebutt what you have to say.

Finally, I have one more match this week, Mr. Fantastic vs. Controller. I probably won't even bother debating that one. I have an idea I know the final outcome.

Yeah, Kurt's survival odds aren't that high against Lord Templar. Maybe the location will be of help. I'll get an opening debate up tomorrow morning on the Belasco/Mordo match, but I kind of doubt there'll be much debating, since both characters' powers are vast, and a little vague. I think the opening comments should suffice.

I'm gonna drop out of the competition, I lost the only three chracters that I actually wanted so its not worth it for me to go on. Plus this is just way too much stress and too much bullsheet to put up with. I'm out.

Well, I know I suck at getting my prizes out at a decent amount of time; but, at 5-9, you might be in the running for the booby prize for this round. (I promise these comics will get out. I totally spaced about them this week; and, I even have the boxes ready to go. Now, if I get them out, I'll have to mail them in Vegas, which means I'll have to pack them along. Hope you guys are too peeved at me; but, I'll probably just wait until I get back. Who knows; if someone who's getting a prize seems to be possibly getting double prizes for a second round, I'll just wait the extra week.

I know next round it will be nice to actually try and get characters I want, but so far it's been neat exploring characters I really didn't know much about or even care much about, and now I get a chance to explore Baron Karza! Oh sweet jesus.

I would; but, I'm going to be gone. And, frankly, I think Dagger doesn't stand a chance against Frank in this contest. Frank knows Dagger well enough from their past experiences, and without Cloak to help her, it will be like taking candy from a baby...then, having the Punisher shoot the thief directly in the head for daring to nab that sweet surprise from the poor tot.

Man, sorry I couldn't vote this week. It's been a nightmare for me. I started my new Position at Home Depot, and it happens to be the busiest time of the year so we were overwhelmed (I stated late and came in early every day, equaling somewhere around 8 hours overtime) and it's all physical labor so I come home and just crash. Add that to the fact that it's a week before Inventory, equaling all the bosses being stressed beyond measure and horrible to work with, and the fact that I've learned the Deliveries people (my position) are the 'go to' people... aka.... "lapdogs" that no one cares about and gets stepped on constantly, and yeah, I've had a rough week. I tried to vote last night and only got through the Darkhawk/Bloodaxe debate before I started dozing at the computer and just went to bed (by the way, it was an awsome debate, I still don't know which way I would have went).

It's sad that I lost both my characters this week, Spidey and Colossus. I really thought I had Colossus, but Spidey was a stretch I knew. But then I didn't expect him to beat Juggy to begin with, so no biggie. I was really hoping on Colossus though... grrr.

So this week I have Surge vs Black Tarrantula, which I think I have a chance at, but if Surge advances, she has no chance at winning against Baron Mordo or Belasco, so I'm not really worried about that one for anything more than percentages. Hmm, don't remember my other match.

Oh well, I'm rambling. I like Zingers. They taste yummy. And I had a Full Throttle Energy Drink today for the first time. Tasted like fruity Mountain Dew... pretty good.... did nothing for me. It was sad. I also got hit in the head with a 6x4x16 piece of lumber that fell on me from an above rack, and nearly got knocked out. It was disorienting.... then I went on to work an 11 hour shift... which was sucky.

And now I'm going to apologize in advance for the coming rant because I just have to get this out in a place that's not around the ears of my family because I am trying to be the strong rational minded one that's keeping the others upbeat. But I got home today and realized that my former step-dad kicked my little brother out of the house. Not just kicked him out (keep in mind that my brother has been paying all the bills while he jsut drank and smoked away his money with his tramp girlfriend) and not just kicked him out but chewed him out about how he's nothing. He took a chain and drug my brother's car out of the garage, damaging it, and wouldn't let him in to get the rest of his stuff. He then went on to tell my brotherhow he's leaving him here while coming to take my youngest brother and sister against their will to Kentucky with him and keeping them there (essentially in attempts to dodge the child support that the courts have decided to make him pay). My little brother, who is the tough guy punk redneck kind of kid, who is 19 years old, came to my house (I live with my mother to help her out of a mess that my stepdad already put her in with the bills) nearly in tears. There's no room here so we're making the garage into a room for him. Other crap that my step-dad has done since my mom threw him out months ago has gotten to me and this is just the last straw. I am fired up and I want to go over there and just kick the crap out of the drunk and his tramp girlfriend and take all their beer and dump it out in front of them and make them watch while explaining to him why he's always been a pathetic excuse for a father, a step father, and a person and how he'll never amount to anything more than an inrresponsible drunk and how instead of a family he just has a tramp at his side that will eventually leave him too. Then I'll gladly call the police and show them where his pot is and just have him arrested and wave as he's led into the car. Mess with my freakin' family and threaten to steal my brother and sister. I swear if I was a lesser man I'd be in jail by the end of the night. He actually had the nerve then to drive here and ask my sister if she and my youngest brother if they wanted to stay the night. It took everything in me to keep from running out there and just pulling him out of his car and show him how mean an angry nerd can get. He's fortunate my older brother is in Florida or he would have been left a bloody pulp in our yard.

Sorry, I just needed to get that out. I'll be the happy go lucky Hobbit again here shortly, I just needed to vent before going back upstairs again.
