I'm hoping that after this obligatory Superman vs Batman fight in JLA they dont have any more fights between the two for a long while

It's just been done way too often

I really want them to go with a plausible scenario that ends up with Batman getting bruised up. Then they can also do character work with Bats at least proving why he is worthy to be on the JLA. I never disliked him being on the JLA but I wish a writer would prove it to the other members and the readers that "hey, this guy DESERVES to be here".

Yeah, I always assumed that his brilliance and skills (particularly his detective and strategic skills) kinda proved that Batman belonged on the team.

I'm aware of that, guys, I'm just saying wouldn't it be nice to see an arc where has to prove himself? The moment that makes them go "oh ****, he does deserve a spot" and that literally being dialogue in the comic but rephrased. They are trying to make this whole relaunch more with the times...the times demand things making more sense even in fantasy and fictional settings. This is the first emergence of heroes and such...people should question "why is Batman walking among people who are essentially like Gods?".

Well, if the solicitations are any indication, it sounds like Batman is founding the League to begin with, so that's probably all the 'proving' he'll need to do

I liked when he did that for SOME of the Morrison JLA run. To be honest I picked up those TPBs because of all the praise and I could recognize why in some cases but in many I was just like "...the same thing happens almost all the time...Steel's suit is rendered USELESS somehow and Bats finds some clever way". To be honest, I was disappointed maybe people overly hype Morrison's run or you had to be there when it came out to have the same effect.

It really is funny and is a shame for Steel fans...did he EVER do ANYTHING under Morrison's pen? I felt like he was constantly being disabled lol.

Having Cyborg as a founding member now is just LOL worthy. Since he is so "modern" that makes him perfect to be on the JL? So unless TT formed before JL I guess that basically erases his huge stint on TT (why DC is screwing TeenTitan history over so bad I do not get espically when it comes to Wally/Donna/Garth)

Same here. I would like to see people who trust each other, I can honestly not believe that on this second issue,they are already fighting each other.

On the contrary, I certainly hope not. It hasbeen done over and over and over, why batmanis intheleague,why he is the best,why he can single handed, blind, with a broken leg, lost in a black hole, managed to beat everymember of the justice League including Superman. That is why I do not read JL anymore, batman leads the show, and every story (almost) just prove to everyone why he is in the league and why he is the best.
I would even say thatthe JL is the training camp for the heroes who want to be as goo as the bat god.
I think it is hightime to show why Superman is in the league, or Wonderwoman, etc... but batman? It has been done more often than too often.

Jim Lee is apparently doing atleast 3 arcs on Justice League, how will this work with him getting a new child later this year? Considering JL #1 and #2 are already seven weeks apart.HD Quality art on Justice League.

Also the reasoning for Dick not being on JL is because "Bruce isn't a team player and its more fun this way to have him on JL" doens't make sense considering he's trained and helped so many heroes. >_<

There were Titans before the current incarnation that will be debuting in September.
