Savage Hawkman #1 preview

Issue one came out on the 31st of August. It was mostly just Batman and Hal bickering, a look at Cyborg, and Supes knocking the f**k outta Hal.

Jim Lee is doing art, so, issue 2 might not be out until Christmas.

DiDio, or somebody, has said that the first issue was supposed to come out the third week, then they bumped it up to August 31st. The rest is on schedule. That's why it's 7 weeks between the first and second issue.

This was one of the titles I was most looking forward to because I love Hawkman. Now I'm a bit worried.

They already have several issues in the bag. Geoff Johns and Jim Lee are already discussing issues 12 and 13. Lee isn't a late artist when he actually focuses and tries to put stuff out on time.

But first he covered it in booze juice then shot it. He intended to set it on fire, and it turned into a fire bird.....thingy.

Thinking about the idea that it carries over from BD...I feel less odd about that small preview...but still Daniel's "voice" for Hawkman stirs odd with me. Plus I've always had trouble loving Tan's art. I think it's just ok most of the time. Plus Carter looks so skinny. o_o

If Hawkman is not a reboot, then he won't be able to catch her in the next lifetime. The cycle of them constantly dying and coming back was broken in Brightest Day.

easy with the name calling buddy. First off, the "different cover" is in limited supply. Unlike the reprints with the regular covers, so the "different covers" are more valuable....................

Like today, I bought the last Variant Batman #1 at my local comic shop!
