Hal slept with Anubis's ladyfriends. :o

But he did call them the next day.

For phone sex

Please, this is Superman we're talking about, not Fred Durst.

When Darkseid will defeat the whole JLA, Superman comes into rage and defeat Darkseid by himself. Then, he is the leader of tje JLA! :D

Will somesome please post the character notes from the back of Justice League #2? I know Superman's height and weight in the DCnU is listed as 6'3 and 235 lbs. But what are the other League members Vital Statistics in the DCnU?

Batman - 6'2" 210
Green Lantern - (was 6') now 6'2" 186
Flash - 5'11" 179
as far as I know
Wonder Woman - 5'11" 140
Aquaman - 6'1" 325
Cyborg - 6'6" 385
and just for old times sake
Martian Manhunter - 6'7" 250

And since the new 52 Captain Marvel interpretation will appear in JL....
I gotta say I've got some apprehensions about what to expect; beginning with the insinuation that the name Captain Marvel may be dropped. I love Gary Frank, but I'm worried about what's going to happen to one of my favorites.
Any thoughts out there...I'm remaining open minded, but not really hopeful (maybe I'm too much of a traditionalist :csad:).

Thanks Czar Colossus. I agree I am not sure about Gary Frank on Captain Marvel. Even though I am a big fan of his run on Hulk. Also his art was just beautiful on Action comics and Superman: Secret Origin. As well as being a nice tribute to the late, great Christopher Reeve.

I don't think they're actually going to drop the Captain Marvel name. The whole Shazam naming has been something they've been doing for a good while now, so I don't really see that as an indication that they'll be dropping the name. If they were going to do that, they probably would've done it a long time ago.

I really just dislike the fact that it's just going to be a JLA back-up, too. I guess it just goes to show how little interest there is within DC about it, but man, Captain Marvel deserves to at least have a chance at his own title, gorrdammit.

WW should be taller than Hal and Flash if anything.

Yeah being an Amazon they should probably make Diana an even 6'; why they felt the need to add 2 inches in height to Hal, don't know.

I've always felt she shoulda been the tallest. Like 6'5" or 6'6". I mean, it's effin' Wonder Woman. People should see her and be like, "That's a huge b***h!"

Wonder Woman was actually pretty short originally. I think if you go back to the original JLA stories, she's one of the shorter members. I don't think she needs to be tall really. I don't know, were the Amazons really suppose to be all that tall in myth anyway, or do people just assume strong women are also tall by default?

Not really.

Now an insect fetish, that's weird.

Its no surprise WW was one of the shortest back in the day, women werent really suppose to be taller than men so of course they would make her short. But this is the here and now where she should be able to stare down/look down at Batman or Superman. Big Barda is the only one who is allowed it seems to be somewhat taller than the Bats and Supes.

Maybe it's because I'm short myself, but I don't really see height as being a huge factor in the ability to 'stare someone down', unless you're taking that in the most literal sense. She's quite a bit shorter than Superman in New Frontier, for instance, and she does a pretty good there in doing that. It's all in the writing to me.

And, yeah, I guess it could've been because that's not what women were 'suppose' to be, but it also might just be the fact that women generally are shorter than men, too, regardless of what time period we're talking about.

Yeah but, she's a demigoddess now.....so you know, she should smash puny humans and s**t.
