Official Legion of Super-Heroes Thread

Wow, look at the class who used to post in these forums!

TMOB! ;)

Yup, only the cream of the crop read Legion ;)

Well what do you know. Aint this a b***h. I put Legion of Superheros in the search and this didn't come up at all, so now I look like an idiot for making another one. :o Still say mines was better...:(

its been a good run so far. issue 10 was great. but i kinda feel the series has been a bit lagging on the adventures part. i was looking forward to more action and ground breaking storylines. but this fits the bill quite nicely.

I've been loving it. After I read issue 10 I went back and re-read the rest of the run up until now and it's been pretty damn intense. I figure you'll get your action in the next couple of issues though.

I love the direction they're taking the characters. While I miss the old versions and in many ways preferred them to this new re-boot. I have to admit that it's refreshing to read this series.

As for the latest issue, the whole Imra thing was very interesting, completely threw me for a loop.
Same with the way it ended, I hate how they taunt us.

I was glad about Imra's "condition." It makes sense for a planet full of telepaths to have unused, basically vestigial vocal cords. I can't imagine the spoken word would be anywhere near as expressive as beaming your thoughts directly into someone else's head.

Brainy's storyline is interesting. Dream Girl was kind of flaky so I don't really miss her, but I'm glad to see Brainy so affected by something. He's been a bit robotic with his lack of all emotion except consummate arrogance. I'm looking forward to the end of this Praetor Lemnos arc to see what else Waid has in store, too.

I liked Dream Girl. She was good at bringing Brainy down a peg. They played quite well off of each other. Kinda shocked she didn't know her own death was coming though.

any more news on the rumor of the Legion being relaunched yet again under Jim Shooter?

Rich Johnston mentioned it in Lying in the Gutters a couple of weeks ago or so, and someone on the DC boards is claiming to have received confirmation after running into Keith Giffen in a comic shop. supposedly it would retcon Supergirl's involvement with the title among other things.

Does anybody have any solo pics of Ultra-Boy, Superboy, and Mon-El??

Thanks, but I went there already. I was looking for something a little different.
(That's my fault. I should have been more specific in my post.)

Is there a website available that would have a wide variety of pics featuring these individuals?

Finding Wolverine, Spiderman, Superman, Batman, WonderWoman etc. is really easy, but I cant seem to find any featuring these three.

So now that Supergirl's the leader of the LoSH, when do you think she's gonna leave the future?

Soon, hopefully. Unless she's a few years older when she returns to the past, which would suck.

Hey guys are they really going to reboot The Legion again. If so I hope the new series is called "Young Superman and the Legion of Super-heroes"
with the young Kal-El as a menber of the Legion

Doesn't mean I wanna see it called "Young Superman and the Legion of Superheroes"

Legion of Superheroes would suffice.

I thought I was the poster child for Apathy?

The thing is, I don't care. As long as it entertains me. I don't got any hang ups about characters or ages or whatever. Entertain me, and i'll buy it. I could give a rats ass if it's the current Legion (Which has been very good under Waid) or the Silver Age version.

Then again if they do bring back Kon-El (Conner Kent) he could always rejoin the group. I mean he was a member of the group for a couple of months before the restart.
