Yeah, Loki gave him the Norn Stones he himself used, but doesn't need anymore, despite the gigantic power boost it gave him.

Oh yeah, and they were in Jamaica. In an abandoned church. In a box. Next to a curled over skeleton in the corner.

What the f***, Loki just gave away the Norn stones? Cripes.

Yeah, those stones sorta almost allowed him to single hand asses to people, including his bro-man. But then again, Bendis is at the helm.

Sense need not apply. Or even good story telling for that matter.

I almost mentioned that there must be some big endgame in mind for Loki where he'll reclaim them spectacularly, but then I remembered it was Bendis.

I dont ever remember Luke having a heart condition. Unless somehow haning around the crowbar and the Stones is going to make Luke the next All -powerful kick your ass on Thor power level guy. Then it was cool!!!!

I am guessing that Loki has her own agenda in giving those stones to The Hood like that. Loki is the God of mischief, after all.

I actually really like this storyline that has been going on lately in the book. All the villains following The Hood, getting their just dues, and now he's depowered and The Wrecking Crew kind of broke off on their own and what not. I've enjoyed that dynamic of the story. Plus Immonen's artwork has been fantastical and given the book a boost in the eye candy category.

my objection to the Hood playing with Loki's stones is i hate the Hood immensely. I want him and the sentry to get punched into Space by Thunderball( sorry to all you Hood/ Sentry guys).
i would've preferred Madame Masque played with Loki's stones instead.

well you know it was suppose to make him all powerful yadda yadda. i freakin love Dormammu. Him and Loki teamed up in some of my early books as a kid. i think he should have just been at the round table himself and kicked that Hood guy to the curb , but i aint the one witting this stuff.

That's why he wanted the Eye most likely, as it would allow him to circumvent the little protections of reality, without the severe loss of power he tends to undergo. Or maybe because it was the item that continually allowed mortals to defeat him. =/

Can someone please tell me exactly what does the Sentry do?
Again this guy shows up, big entrance and in 2 seconds is immobilized,ineffective and just a complete lost.
It happened in Secret Invasion.It has Happened in Dark Avengers with Morgan le Fey and it just happened again. The only time it didn't happen was in WW Hulk, but it took 5 issues to convince him to do it. If this is what if Superman was in the MU .It Sucks! My boy shows up, "Here I am to save the Day!" and then curls up into a ball, gets scared and runs off or Some *&^%$ happens to him. I think it's like "ok this dude is so powerful.He can finish any fight in seconds, but we cant have that, sooo make him unable to do it 2 seconds."
i already see some other year's event Dude turns bad and everybody has to stop him.

I think Sentry's too powerful to be involved in the regular marvel universe. I mean if this guy really does have the power of a "million exploding suns" well then....who could possibly be a match for him? Not even the Phoenix is that powerful. Like i said, he has no business on earth fighting crime with the other marvel heroes, he should be in Dragonball Z or something.
