Finally on my way to my second viewing!
Some people do have to feel contrary to everyone else and show it off. I just don't read certain reviewers who you know are going to **** all over something because either it's popular or they have an axe to grind with the franchise or someone related to it.Reading his review, I pictured him writing every word with his teeth baring.
I loved the part where he credited the action to the preViz/second unit team. He only does that when it he really has to.
Figured he'd at least give it up for the quick silver stuff.

I'll tell you what was a missed oppotunity, not have the future battle at the Baxter Building, they have the movie rights to do it. The comic fans would geeked out and the GA would be given a peek/reminder of the upcoming FF movie.
I have to say I really loved the film gave it a 9.5/10 IMO the best X-Men film ever made. Come watch my video review show Epic Film Guys do our review! Please and thanks!

I agree. That would have been a cool easter egg. I don't think Fox really has a handle on how to do this connected universe thing yet.
I'm hovering around a 7/10 - 7.5/10 range. Good, not great. Best X-Men movie yet? Yeah, I'll go along with that. But it's marginal.
I just don't love First Class like so many people do. It's a solid film and considering the thin time restraints, Vaughn and Goldman whipped up a good script and did a damn good job. I liked the tone more than the style of the film. But about the only thing I loved was Xavier and Magneto. It just doesn't sink in for me like Singer's films do. There's that element of gravitas that is needed for X-Men that Singer is better equipped for than Vaughn.
Not an X-Men fan then?
FC blew me away, I think the rest of X-Men movies are 'okay'. FC is the only X movie in my CBM top 5.
Nope, never was an X-Men fan. Nor a Fantastic Four fan either, but I'm more familiar with them. Stan Lee ensured that I'd never be an X-Men fan when he chose to just make them all mutants because it would be easier. That just seemed lazy to me in comparison to stuff like the Avengers. And I think that's one of the reasons why the X-Men in film is unlikely to ever have the mass appeal as the Avengers. For the most part they're a group of characters who the GA doesn't know enough about or care all that much about. The only 3 characters we really know in any sizable way are Wolverine, Professor X and Magneto. The rest are completely disposable even if they've had a lot of screen time(like Storm). The X-Men franchise suffers from too many characters spread to thinly to ever give a **** about any of them.
