It's like Lost. If they just told me how/if they get off the island, I could have spared myself years of frustration and curse words.
# Red Hulk. Ever since his debut, he's been beating the living crap out of pretty much everyone effortlessly.
* It reached it's most stupid and ludicrous in a recent issue where he managed to kill the Hulk, Psycho-Man, Terrax, Silver Surfer, Namor, Tiger Shark, Baron Mordo, Doctor Strange and The Grandmaster. Most of them are easily some of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe, and he killed most of them in less then a page. Oh, and he managed to steal the Surfer's power with a technique he'd never used before just for that splash page pictured above. True, almost everyone he killed was resurrected, but it doesn't excuse how dumb it is.
Or, perhaps, the author just has a distaste for some (or all) of the protagonists and created the character to facilitate a Hate Fic, Fix Fic, or Revenge Fic.
It certainly must be entertaining somebody out there, what with its huge sales.I actually laughed out loud when I turned the page of that issue to see the big splash page of Rulk riding the Surfer's board. It's just so gloriously stupid that I happily admit to buying the book for the lol's. I can't help but think that Loeb's just trying to outdo Frank Miller's "Goddamn Batman."

I will confess that the most recent issue of Rulk was bearable,
Yup...What?
Never made it that far in ASB&R. Unlike that book, I've managed to hold out on dropping Hulk so far, mainly for the nagging urge to find out who Rulk is. And McGuinness' art.Have a fruit pie? It's lemony
Jeph Loeb. Who is doing a fantastic job of completely undermining a whole mess of characters in the cackhanded Hulk title - which is solely redeemed by the art of Ed Mc Guinness... who is apparently being reassigned. Let's see... we've had more than a few people directly attribute the portrayal of She-Hulk in the title to the crash and burn of her solo title - as she bore no resemblance to PAD's version and in fact, could have been just about any superheroine. Then we have the Red Hulk... the title started out with the mystery of who he was... but apparently even Jeph Loeb got bored of that... and the fact the story is really just who Rulk will beat up this month. To the point a totally unrelated two part filler made essentially no difference to the flow of the story.
