Now seriously, who thinks that there will be a spiderman 4? And how would you react if there was going to be one? What you think the budget should be, and what 4 villains would you think would be perfect for the film? If they make it.

no, no, I don`t think we would see two of them considering sm3 has 3. I think if they make a sm4 they would want to push even further in terms of action, by useing 3-4 villains. am still not sure myself if there will be a sm4...

The Lizard appears in New York. Spider-man spends about half of the film trying to discover the identity of this urban legend. Once he finds that it's his friend and mentor, Curt Connors, he knows he must protect the man's life and reputation, while at the same time stopping the monster. As this happens, a mysterious man, Kraven, comes to New York with a contract from an unnamed benefactor to kill the Lizard. It then becomes a story of Peter having to stop Kraven all the while stopping Lizard without hurting him. If Connors dies that would be yet another person in his life he couldn't save.

yea, I think that four great villains would be lizard, electro, carnage, and of course venom has to be in 4. think sandman should return to the 4th one, if they make it?

Cause it will be a hapass job... even if most the actors or back... if Raimi... the writers leave... and they hire some less capable people to do the job to meet a deadline... we will have another X3... no need for a 2009 release... believe it or not... Spiderman will eventually wear thin on the general public (fanboys wouldn't care but look at the big picture)... no need to rush this... so let Dunst and and Tobey walk... even Raimi if he moves on... take your time with it... and negotiate 3 picture deals with Jake G and whoever plays MJ and do it right from the start

Mac Gargan/Scorpion=????
Eddie Brock/Venom=Topher Grace

Basically, MJ leaves New York. Doctor Connors takes the serum and becomes Lizard, and accidently smashes the container holding the Symbiote sample that Peter gave him. It slivers off somewhere. Spider-man fights Lizard a couple of times. The Police are chasing a very battered and wounded Cletus Kassady. He hides in Central Park, and drips blood on the Symbiote sample, which envolopes him. Carnage slaughters the Police (You won't see the slaughtering bit, but you'll know what's happened) JJ makes Scorpion, who fights Spider-man. Carnage comes and kills Scorpion, before attacking Spider-man. Venom comes and helps Spider-man to defeat Carnage, and sacrifices himself to kill Carnage.

Just the basic outline, not great.

You forgot to add Scorpion, Shocker, King Pin, Hydroman, and Kraven guys ^^^... since they have three villains in SM3... lets triple it again and have nine... if we are being proportional and all... Lizard and Kraven is more than enough... this is all I can hope for

Jameson- the Xavier of the Spidey franchise... write Jameson out all together if Simmons isn't back

Setups: Carnage, Mysterio, or Scorpio, but not all three... Quentin Beck can be tied in with MJ's career to keep the Parker/MJ relationship interesting... Carnage... well we know how SM3 will probably end... Scorpion? Well Jameson has to have a final say at some point. Want to see King Pin but that will never happen... hopefully culminated with the Sinister 6 for SM6

Yes...you got that right...Kraven would be okay, but I just think Electro would be one of those villains to make people go "ooo, ahhh". And superherofan777 needs to stop thinking of Venom, Carnage, Lizard and Electro...Venom and Carnage should not be in a movie with two more villains...the CGI alone for Venom and Carnage is enough.

I think they should have a continuation of three with venom and spider-man fighting at the very beginning. But have unforeseen events take place that force them to join up against the new villain.... something along those lines.

there should not be any more than 2 villains in spiderman 4!! if they try to make it bigger and with more action than 3 it just wont work and if they put more villains in every sequel by the time we get to 6 there'll be about 15!!

am i the only person that thinks there pushing it with 3 villains in the 3rd, harry and osbourne would have been perfectly good for me and they could have setup venom for the fourth movie. as it is i think the lizard-kraven storyline every1 keeps mentioning sounds really good and then bring back venom/carnage for the 5th!!

I predict Spider-Man 4 will be out by 2010, no later than that if they plan on keeping Raimi + the rest of the cast & crew.

I think Spider-Man should've had 2 villains in each film; GG1 & Doc Ock in 1 (Could've told the stacy saga in that one properly), GG2 & Scorpion in 2, Lizard & Kraven in 3, + Venom & Carnage in 4.

I don't for a minute think Raimi & Co. would would any more films than 4. Sure, three films are the norm as they constitute a trilogy, but 4 brings a saga full circle. 5 to me would seem like an incomplete second trilogy.

9 villains? I would hope your not serious. 3 villains for sm3 took like 250 mil bucks!!! and 9...you do the math.
